[size=10pt][size=10pt][size=10pt][size=10pt][size=10pt]My birth certificate has full name of my father but only my first name and my mother's first name.
Similarly, my sister's birth certificate has full name of our father but only first name of her's and our mother's.

Should I include this in the cover letter? Stating something like that is the standard format in those years for Government, etc?

Hi,

Was going through your post , I understood you send WES report and letter original ( Letter was not required to be sent, it was for your own record)

My question to you is, have you also given proof of education along with the original WES report?

Thanks
Yes, send proof of education - Degree certificate and copy of transcript if you have it, along with a WES original report (WES will send you three documents, a letter and two original copies of the report)

You are wrong! and where are you getting such information that apps have been returned because of using International Debit Cards?

However in all cases, for peace of mind it is wise to avoid Credit /Debit Card , go for the Demand/Bank draft with six months validity.

Thanks.
You can go check the form, it clearly say credit card, not credit/debit card.

Checklist sequence is what I suggest should be adhered to. Spouse, I dont think his/her educational certs/docs are required for this years FSW. What will be required for your spouse is their IELTS test result - if your claiming points for it...

Hi, the Document checklist is numbered, follow the numbers in sequence and arrange your forms and other documents accordingly.
Your spouse's educational documents are not required. You may place them last if you wish otherwise, leave them out.
All the best. :)

Now you are right but I am better informed than you because my DEBIT CARD was charged by CIC even when the form reads "credit card not debit/credit card".

thanks buddies ramgarhia and harit79..

so now, I can wait for my spouse's IELTS results.... 'cause my NOC is 0121 and till now zero applications submitted as per latest CIC update...

I think it will take longer time for NOC 0121 to reach cap of 1000 applications..

in 2012 forum, 2013 forum and in this 2014 forum, I have seen a lot people who are worried/concerned about how VO takes on with their job reference letters, how they check it against fake and fraud docs and how they contact with the concerned persons or how they verify the docs.

I have come across several different situations, like concerned persons have been replaced or changed their contact numbers, company contacts are updated or changed or company itself shuts down or merged, contacts are not reachable at times due to busy timings or different time zones, some times even company phones lines don't respond due to late bill payment or other issues, many times companies are small ones and they shut down due to any reasons, sometimes new person takes the position in previously worked company and doesn't endorse or verify the applicant, the concerned persons are not fluent in English even in basic English and just cant talk except in their native languages, some companies still dont have emails! and bla bla bla so on.......

what I understand is, the cio or VO just cant reject your case if they cant reach the concerned person or department or not able to verify ur reference letter due to above reasons cos these reasons are genuine and very much exists in every part of this world including Canada (not all I agree).

if VO checks and verifies that ur other all docs (educational, language, marriage, children docs, bank statements which are verified at least 4 times during the case, criminal records, medical, etc) are genuine and up to date with everything complete, then they really don't dig so deep in for that case. even if they cant contact or able to converse about ur job reference letter, they don't just reject the case, cos u r fulfilling 95% of else everything so this things gets approved as default (what I understand) for al most all of the cases. even there are applicants who make their own reference letters, design own letter heads, print it out at home or from shops, get it signed and submit and still gets cleared cos there other 95% things are clear! also VO don't have that much time that they re-try and wait until unless they don't get any updates or verification for job references, they have to finish processing thousands of applications and really don't bother to keep on trying and waiting.

then there are those applicants whose docs shows some sort of fishiness, some things up and down, problems with their POF/statements, previous rejections due to any reason (not due to cap filled), fishy criminal records, missing docs, incomplete apps, lack/missed info provided, and so on. so if VO smells and sees anything not going good then they dig in deep.

so people plz remain calm abt this thing, its not a big issue as its been hyped of and created, as long as ur all other docs are ok, just sit back and relax and wait for ur visas.

updated: those applicants who hired a lawyer or listed cic consultant don't have to worry anything, they know their tricks to tackle all of the situations at cio and VO!

Hello, my personal experience is different. But I am just sharing information, I also think that DD is the best to way to secure yourself.
I used international debit card VISA with possibility to make payments through Internet.
I was charged 1 week ago without any problem.

Then you are exceptional cases and IMHO, we should not take exceptional cases as a good way to go since we are not sure how the whole process works, we should follow exactly what we are requested. A friend of mine used Debit card, his application reached cio on May 6 and until now his card has not been charged. I would not risk mine.

And because you do not get caughted by breaking a rule does not make it a valid event.

nope...

+1 can never be traded with -1 given earlier..

:) :)

Hmmm so I got a +1 from you now. Well, thanks again!! :)

But then if the +1 did not come from who ever gave me a -1 earlier, then where did that -1 vanish? Can a -1 given earlier be deleted, and replaced with a zero? Not sure what is going on here, but umm that's okay!! ::)

Alright let me share my 2 cents in the interest of the discussion.

These bank cards are somewhat regulated in emerging market economies like India. I believe one has to check with bank (preferably, go to a branch and do in person) before trying to use their cards internationally, especially when one has not tried doing that for a relatively big amount previously. I recommend checking for even credit cards in India (let's say for limit on international transaction), for that matter. However when I was in the US, the US bank issued debit cards (visa / mastercard) could be used just like the credit card. Often not possible to do that here in India though.

If I were to make payment I would use neither of the two, but get a DD made for 6 months validity. It can be EASILY made.

Hi,
Moscow is your visa office. Warsaw has stopped accepting applications from Russians.

Here is the link for Moscow visa office,

Here is the link for Warsaw visa office

they have removed Russia from their list. You can check it under Visa and immigration section.

Best of Luck

In this part of the world, most of the international transactions were perfected with debit cards because the credit system have not been fully developed. This is no exceptional case! By the way, have you conducted sample poll to be sure and to have come to the conclusion that debit cards transactions are declined.

Did your friend find out if his card was enabled for international transactions? How much do you know about debit cards/credit card working mechanism? What is the difference between debit cards and credit cards? Please this is a public forum and information is key, when you are not sure of something don't come on here and spew it all over the place!

Your friend's case is an isolated case and by what you wrote, you couldn't have concluded that his application was rejected as a result of of his using a debit card.
