OK Guys so just checked my online application status using the UCI I was issued last year. To be honest with you I did it half heartedly as had tried it a number of time in past with the last attempt in the previous week but to my utter surprise it is now showing my application status as "In Process" and when I click on the link it says "We received your application for permanent residence on May 7, 2014."

So I assume good news for me at last and I am still in the chase as if my application was being turned away they would not have updated its online status would they? Seniors Please confirm.

how many points given for spouse' IELTS and how many bands minimum are required to get this points?

Principal Applicant only.. If your looking for adaptability point than your spouse needs to appear for IELTS.

Sorry, not misguiding anyone...

I have Mastercard and Visa Debit cards that accept international transactions, and they both work. I have used them many times - online or POS in the UK and US.

Man it is not usable for Immigration purpose. Many people gave tried and their applications returned.

Urgent Help needed!!

I am applying for myself being primary applicant, my wife and my kid. I have included my wife and kid in generic form and they will accompanying me to canada.
My question is do I have to fill Additional Dependants/Declaration (IM 0008DEP) form?

Man it is not usable for Immigration purpose. Many people gave tried and their applications returned.

I think it comes down to what country or/and bank that issued the debit card.

It is not rue that debit cards enabled for international transactions are not "usable for immigration purpose". Please cross check your facts. If anything,this is better than credit cards as the funds are readily available and the limit are not pegged to the same level as credit cards.

Many people have used it (including yours truly) for international transactions and there has never been any issue.

Maximum of 5 points could be attained, if the CLB level is 4 or above.

If my package till under review by CIO office (No CC NO PER yet) can I send a duplicate package to CIO office (same NOC) ? Because I want to include missing document and also another method pf payment (DD)

Is the duplicate package will harm my original package?

If you can't calculate points yourself based on details provided on CIC's website, then I must clarify that it's going much harder task than this to establish yourself financially in Canada.
