Guys a friend of mine sent application by DHL last week. yesterday dhl gave POD in electronic form that its been delivered to some Mike in CIC. it just says the name and no signatures of him are there in scanned POD. Is it like that? I mean do he need to ask for scan of POD with Mike's signature time and date. A lot of people had sent vis DHL in this forum so please share if anything more need to be done like asking for signatured scan or something.

CIC have just started App processing for 8th May, so probably it might take another month for you to get the response looking at the trend

As long as its received by Mike in CIC should not be a problem.

First I would like to thank members for helping me on several occasions earlier. We have been assisted by some experts here who guide us and suggest best possible ways in case of confusion etc.

I am facing a problem with regard to PCC. Though we may submit it later but the process/ problems associated with it may not disappear after certain period. I have visited my city's police commissioner's office for the issuance of PCC. They advised that I need to produce Police Verification Certificates from the police deptt of cities where i stayed in the last 15 years. I am a banker and am regularly transferred to various locations. In the last 15 years I have been to 8 cities. Do I need to visit all these places for the issuance of Police Verification Certificates so that PCC may be issued at my present location?

Need urgent response form the experts please.

It seems that CIC started charging 8th of May files! What about the rest of file before 8th? It means all that file are going to rejecte?! There are a huge amount of file from first to 7th of May which are waiting without any response from CIC... . Cry

Hi All,

I am a 7th May applicant and just called my bank to check if my DD payable to CIC had been charged or not? Unfortunately it is still outstanding. I suspect my application package is being returned to me since now they have moved to 8th May Applicants. I am currently visiting family back home and will not get to UK where I currently live till the first week of August.

I have a UCI reference that I got when I applied last year but my application was returned due to cap already being reached. My question to the fellow forum members is that is there a number that I can call CIC on to check the status of my current application and the reason if it is being returned to me?

No he should not. This is the most DHL offers for customers sending packages to Nova Scotia. Tell your friend to expect an email from CIC in abt 3 months time.

You just need to visit the passport office from where your passport issued for PCC.

or you can apply from Passport seva kendra website for PCC. No need to visit any police dept.
