No AOR or MR from NDVO yet ?? Am I correct ?

My VO is New Delhi only.. I am the next famous "8th May" applicant.

I may be travelling to US in next 2-3 months..Do I need to get my file transferred to CPC-O or is it advisable to get it done from NDVO..

Need Pros and Cons in file transfer or getting it done from NDVO only..

Sorry brother; you can't change once you select your VO.

I m the famous 8th may applicant, will be flying to Canada on student visa in next 3 months, should I have to change my VO? for Pakistani residents its London VO, I will be residing in Vancouver, BC, should I need to inform cio about it? will my case be processed from London or from Canada?

But there is some option to change the address. So, if my address is changing to a different country then?? You mean to say that if I travel then I will have to come back for medical and passport submission in India??

Dear Future Applicants:

Before submitting your application, do the following last moment check: Most Frequent Errors

  • Ensure counting all the pages of form.
  • Ensure writing your full name at the last page of generic form.
  • Ensure selecting correct visa office
  • Ensure writing names in native languages
  • Ensure writing name, DoB, photo taken date at the back of photos
  • Ensure including self-addressed labels
  • Ensure while filling form IMM5406 by your spouse, s/he is applicant
  • Ensure Assets = Your property + settlement fund
  • Ensure Settlement fund is owned 100% by you or your spouse or jointly by both
  • Ensure providing original ECA, IELTS, and PCC
  • Ensure providing photocopy of degree/master certificate
  • Ensure birth certificate contains applicant's name, parent's name, and DoB
  • Ensure using DD;
  • If using CC, ensure diligently fill all the field of Section B of payment form: amount, card holders name, signatures, card numbers, CVV, expiry date, and type of card.
  • If using CC, keep it inside a vault.

Thanks Century,
I have done the same. Fortunately I have two credit card. I have used StanChart credit card for fee payment to CIO and keep it safe at home.
Secondly I have confirmed with customer care about RBI guidelines and my forex credit limit before sending the application. To confirm the conversation with customer care I have written the mail to credit card cell of StanChart.
I would advise the same procedure to all future applicant, who want to pay by card.

1. mention the values in both Assets and Liabilities.
2. If you have any other property like cars, jewelry, land, etc include them. Don't forget to include settlement fund as assets.
3. Bank certificate is good enough. You can additionally submit your bank statement for the duration of 3 to 6 months - but it is optional.
4. No, it won't affect your application. In fact, they expect people with Canadian experience more.

Hi,

I have few questions,

As long as I have un-encumbered $14000 in my account, would it not suffice the VO?
How do they know about the list of properties and liabilities that I have unless the liabilities are linked to the account that I show as POF??

Your VO can n't be changed unless , you presented concrete proof to NDVO and CIC about your move to US (after spending 6-8 months in US and if your move is for longer time or permanent then only, in some cases CIC has discretion to change your VO). However , it will
add delay in your case as all background verification for all your submitted documents will be first done in your home country then in your transferring country (new VO might ask you to again submit the documents related to new country).

Hope you understood !

Re: Last Moment Check

Dear Seniors
again ???
Ensure writing name, DoB, photo taken date at the back of photos. I am so worried about this point because I forgot to write this date. Might my application be refused for this reason?

You can go for medicals from anywhere in world as DMP list as per CIC , so medicals is no issue.
your address change is required to CIC for mailing your passports after stamping (if your case is positive) , as mailing passports outside country is not practice by CIC as of now... my fingers crossed but Canada should pay attention towards e letter visa system rather than Visa stamping in passports.

I have one hypothesis concerning the absence of PERs for quite a long time. I mean PERs for 7th May applicants. I think there will be none till first 8th May charge. But we'll see..
