I have a small question regarding Medical Exam. Living in USA, can we see a physician in India? My wife is planning to visit India soon and want to get medicals there as it is cheaper there. Is is mandatory for both medical results to reach at the same time at Visa Office?

agreed 67 points will get you qualified..no need to waste time, as you can see that application load has slowed down CIC, you can only assume the predictions might be blasted away in terms of CAP, so...think about it and do what you feel is best for you...

Best of luck :)

I dont think so u can submit docs without IELTS or ECA equivalent. Its written these are mandatory...Else i would have submitted waayyyyy back...my point is 70 without these...i had confirmed from CIC these are mandatory

I assume you're talking about bridging open work permit (information available in the OB 485 - A on CIC's site)? When does your current work permit expire? Currently it looks like the PER processing time will be between 8 to 10 weeks after CIO receives an application. CIO takes around 20 business days to respond to an inquiry.

You can try contacting CIO but I am not sure just how helpful it will be.

Alternatively, you can read the information available on this thread http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/bowp-how-many-of-you-have-applied-and-received-it-successfully-t139027.0.html You might find something helpful with regards to Bridging open work permits.

Dear Seniors,

Is it worthwhile chasing CIC in respect to my application as I'm concerned I won't get PER in time before my current TWP runs out.

Thanks

Mike

My app reached on 6th June, looks like 7th May applicants are being charged. :P

Its going to be at least 2 months wait before i see anything i guess or is there any way to check on what's going on ? :'(

Thanks for your reply and yes my intention with the PER is to get a bridging open work permit. Current work permit runs out at the start of October. Ok so contacting CIC is not really an option?, I just need to sit and wait and hope the CIO processes my app before October?

Thanks

+1 for you.
Very Interesting..

I am little surprised to see nationalities like UK, UAE, Japan, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Italy.. Didn't expect.

People have different reasons. For me,the main purpose is that i want my kids to attend english school/university there. Experiencing different cultures... :)

Hello Friends, I have below queries. Please help.

1. I am trying to apply through online for Canada FSW 2014 but not getting to link to fill online questionnaire or not getting link to generate personal checklist code on cic.gc.ca site. Please provide direct link.
2. Is it really require to fill online application and send physical copy of application?
If yes then where we need to send physical copy of application? (I have added "Delhi, India" in field - Immigration office requested for this application in Generic form)
3. In pdf form there are some conditions which are hiding the textbox and date selection textbox. After taking print out of such pdf form, can I write Not Applicable or NA by using black pen?
4. Is it compulsory to have passport or national identity documents for kids under 5 age?

Waiting for goods news about PER mail.... 8)

dear seniors

Please help

1. My current company is not ready to give me reference letter which I have joined recently. Will it be ok if I do not show experience of current company as its been just 4 months and if i show my current status as "Unemployed"?

2. I have worked with 3 companies in last 10 years and sadly none of them are ready to give reference letter. Will it be ok if I show affidavit of all of these or it will be a problem.

Regards,
