Thanks Kashish, you have been a great help. Sorry to ask so many questions, Please bear with my queries.

1- I am little confused about LETTER of Experience and Appointment LETTER. If an appointment letter which has all the required info wanted by CIC then do we still need to furnish Experience Letter. Can the statement related to the closure of the company be mentioned in Letter of Experience. Are they both need to be submitted.

2- I have greater number of experience (3.6 years) for NOC 0121 compare to 1.4 years for Business System Analyst (NOC 2171). Would I be getting points based on total experience of both these occupation i.e 4.4 years OR just for 3 years as my Primary category is NOC 0121. I guess points would be given for total 4.10 years irrespective of the PRIMARY NOC category, Am i thinking correctly?

in 1st 6.0 in L and 6.0 in W
in 2nd 6.0 in S and 6.0 R

My ECA has been completed and I am able to view the report ONLINE. I opted for both bachelor's and Masters degrees evaluation as both were from different Universities. The Online report saye:

"Canadian Equivalency Summary

Bachelor's degree (three years) and master's degree"

I am counting the points as 23 as per above summary, please correct me if I am wrong.

Thank you All , Forum is doing great Job .
But again as I told earlier.. I was just analyzing the trend
its nothing to give pessimistic feeling .. 7th May trend has
already proved that more than 30% apps are arrived especially for 2174 this day.
how many will pass next level..time will tell us

My cousin don't have relieving letter of one company and he is not claiming points for that company as he only worked for 3 months over there, but as he visited Europe from that company for meetings, so he is showing the experience but not claiming points, will it be ok with out experience letter??

He can proceed with that company..This is not mandatory doc....

Are marksheets for only two modules or all four modules and you are using the best results ?

Friends, I have a query.. rather an attempt to get some optimism..

As per latest update on http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/complete-applications.asp...

Number of complete applications under NOC 0111 are 19. This means 19 candidates are totally through the selection process.

Any idea that beyond 19, how many candidates approximately would at the stage of:
1. Only CC charged and PER received
2. Processing going on at local VO
3. etc.
4. etc.

My assumption is that since my application for 0111 reached on 2nd July, there could be approx 600-700 people ahead of me.. and are in the above mentioned stages. If my assumption is correct then it gives me hope to get into the remaining 300.

Is my assumption correct or am I shooting in the dark?

1. My current company is not ready to give me reference letter which I have joined recently. Will it be ok if I do not show experience of current company as its been just 4 months and if i show my current status as "Unemployed"?

2. I have worked with 3 companies in last 10 years and sadly none of them are ready to give reference letter. Will it be ok if I show affidavit of all of these or it will be a problem.

For the:

1. U may show it as career self development....Also u can show that employment without ref letter, but u can give appointment and Payslips....Its also ok...

2. for this case check on below:


"Reference letters in the required format are necessary, please try your best to get them. If after all efforts you are unable to obtain a work reference letter, then you should provide a solemn declaration / affidavit explaining in detail why are you unable to do so. The officers at the VO are aware of the fact that different employers have different policies towards issuing such adhoc letters and may not cooperate in issuing such a letter. Please do attach all your employment records with the declaration. I was unable to obtain a work reference letter from one of my employers and did the same. However please bear in mind that the final decision rests with the visa officer handling your case."

Accumulated Suggestion :

"1) Please descibe the reference letter with your NOC on a white A4 paper and get it acknowledged by your supervisor.
2) Take a copy of photo I'd (company tag photo id) of your supervisor of your company...get it signed by him on it and do attestation
3) Get a service letter from your employee stating you have worked from so and so time with your designation
4) provide an affidavit supporting why you are not able to provide the reference letter in company letter head and attach the service letter provided along with this
5) Submit appointment letter (if exists)
6) Submit Payslip (if exists)
7) Business card of applicant (if exists)

As a summery -- I believe ur file will not be impacted for the CAP....Since spreadsheet has a lower amount of applicants right now...and within this time frame it should not be completed...

So just stay calm and pray for each other...Keep faith on God....
