Update Spreadsheet

----- Adding Details to Spreadsheet -----

Hello All...

I would like to congratulate all the members getting their CC/DD Charges and receiving PERs

I just want to encourage everyone to add their details to the spreadsheet. It greatly helps the rest of us who are waiting and praying !! It also helps the admins to generate awesome stats which are way better than anything you can get from CIC.

First time entry ? Lost the link to edit or don't know how to edit ?? Go ahead and add your details again

Just follow the simple steps below:

1) -- Open the URL for the Entry form -- https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1Wl4oS7u4P1oek09X6ZUO6hHK-9jE3TNIAwgHSWMowAA/viewform
2) -- Fill out your information --
Use exact forum username (refill if you do not know how to edit, the old entry is taken care of by a magical script the admins wrote)
3) -- Hit Submit - and voila .. your information is in the spreadsheet
4) -- Important Make sure to bookmark/save the Edit Your Response Link -- you get on this page. Later when you want to update, you simply come to this link and edit it and the information is updated in the sheet.

Join us in viewing the spreadsheet at the URL https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/11gAbKSoDoOr1s8_raB1qwz0i-ZH0NyNWhhn18O6kHwQ/

Folks - not sure if this has been brought up before or if majority of the applicants are aware of an operational manual for Federal Skilled Worker Program. Well here it is http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/manuals/op/op06c-eng.pdf
It is a detailed document about the Federal Skilled Worker Program, has all the information on processing a FSW application, reasons for rejection, what is checked at CIO and by a local CIC VO and much more.
Please do take the time to read it and understand it. It will answer most of the doubts/concerns that you might have.
I suggest you first read through the information available on the CIC's website (link available on my signature below) and then read through the operational manual.

Admins - If you have not done so already, can you please add the link to the operational manual to your spreadsheet? Thanks!

Cheers.
:)

Yes, 1% chance of rejection after charging. But why are you so negative about it? None get any PER for 7th May; as a 7th May applicant, it will take more time than any other day - I think so. Wait 3 more weeks from now; after that, start panicking.

Thanks a lot Century..

i am neither Panicking nor Negative rather just so much curious about PER and eager to see it in my MAIL box..

Thanks for your reply Hope1957..

After the processing fee has been recovered from you, CIO will check if your application is eligible to be processed. If it is you will be issued a PER (positive eligibility review), if not you will be issued a NER (negative eligibility review) and the processing fee that you have paid will be refunded. At this point since no occupation caps have been reached, you can assume that a credit card charge will lead to a PER. Note that nothing is final until you actually hear back from CIO/CIC.
Good luck! :)

I really doubt that CIO will inform the applicant immediately after finishing eligibility review, PER/NER. Because many applicants with UCI already found the status is IN PROCESS before receiving PER many days ago.

I am more convinced that CIO will send emails to applicants just before sending the files to local vo.

any comments welcome!

Hi Seniors,

I have 1 query...The additional family info that the CIC has with them....do they use it for funds verification or such things...like liabilities of father, account summary of father, mother, sister, brother..?..etc

They will only check the liability of principal applicant, if they able and willing to do so.

Hi Seniors,

My friend got married 11 months back and he wants to submit the application under 2281.

If his spouse appears for IELTS and scores Band-5, does he eligible to get 5 adaptability points?

Thanks,

You can find it in the "Required Link" sheet, row 5, heading as "Step by step procedure after receiving application FSW May4,2013 at CIO"

Dependents are your spouse and children only.

Can i make use of this provision for IELTS in document check list and on the site

Note: You are permitted to submit a copy of your language test results with a new application only if your original test results were submitted with a previous Federal Skilled Worker Program application that we did not return to you. If you provide a copy of your language test results, you must include a photocopy of the refusal letter you received from us and an explanation that CIC currently has your original language test results.
