check it in your visa (8 digit number); Note that some people reported, in the Visa, they don't have it.

If CIC makes any communication, you may also find it out there.

i have two 8 digit numbers on my visa. none in the 0000-0000 format. And i tried to chk status with both these numbers and both failed. I wonder if I am looking at the right number. Or do i just have to wait till cic does something related to my application?

Hello All...I am new to this group but I wanted to thank you all for all the great discussions that you guys bring up on this forum. I have applied under NOC 1112 and my application reached on 28th May. I have done a small analysis on the cap and would want to seek your inputs on the same. CIC website shows that there are 115 applicants in 1112 category who have received PER as at 30th June. The forum spreadsheet says that there are 14 applicants who have received PER in total as of the same day. This is approx 12% (14/115) of the worldwide applicants. Looking at the magical figure, I believe that the cap for 1112 would have reached somewhere around the last week of June as the 120th (12% of 1000) application in the forum spreadsheet was received on 26th June. Am I correct in my observation ? Thanks.

Looking at the time taken to process 7 may, Post adding 7 may these numbers will at least triple I believe..

@ migrator2014

When ur application was received? if it was received after 7th U won't have anything there. some 7th May apps have the data while other are dont.

Btw are these two numbers different?

I thought so. Yeah, these are two different numbers.

so the numbers on the cic website do not reflect the numbers of application they have selected so far?

@migrator2014

If these r 2 diff number, then either one is ur UCI or none. Look for 0000-0000 number in any other communication u have with visa office.

Hopefully, this week some May 7th applications (i.e. applications received on this date) PER e-mails should come. The earliest payment charges for May 7th applications have been mostly from Jun 12th and 13th (although a few on Jun 11th as well). So PERs should be coming this week. Let's wait and watch! 8)

dmitrych, what are your thoughts brother? ::)

Well, my thoughts are that CIO didn't do much since Friday, probably because of Friday + a day before holiday yesterday + a holiday today. I was expecting my PER on Friday, but I'm still waiting, - and more than half of other May 6 applicants (15 persons out of those who have their fees cashed) still haven't got their PERs yet either. I guess that's what CIC will be busy with on this week. And then, maybe by the end of the week, or on the next week, May 7 PERs should start coming. - in my opinion.

Another question, is data updated on the spread sheets - I believe it must be on the 'FSW14 Applicants' work sheet, but it is not showing beyond Jun 24th on the 'Apps by recv. date and status' sheet, so I ask. Although on top of the latter sheet it says updated on Jul 1st.

This looks like a Google Sheets bug - it was supposed to refresh the date list each day, according to the settings, but it doesn't do that. I'm refreshing it manually for now.

The issue here is that CIC does not actually state if they count those who have received PER, or those whose fees have been cashed. After analyzing the existing data, including data from FSW 2013, I believe CIC numbers represent applications for which fees have been cashed, not PERs received.

P.S. Cool, I have 100 posts and a rating of +50. So many round numbers :)

[size=10pt] Brother, Just one twist in case the numbers are not actually for PER issued but for 'completed checking application' cases.

In that case, if these are numbers based on applications that CIC has 'completed checking' which they actually state on their website then these can have up to 40% of the May 7th applications mixed in them as well, since by Jun 30th about 40% of the May 7th applications from the spread sheets have been checked and charged. In that case instead of 14 for NOC 1112 it becomes 25 for NOC 1112. :P

Hi All,
Just got SMS stating my IELTS score.

Listening 8.50
Reading 8.50
Speaking 7.00
Writing 6.50
OverAllBandScore 7.50

Can someone confirm how many points I get?
Thanks in advance.

23 points I think off the top of my head.

I am applying under NOC 2133 which is electrical and electronic engineer. However I am an electronic engineer, should I thus mention only Electronic engineer in the form under NOC description or Electrical and Electronic Engineer?

I do not have any liabilities as of date , do I have to leave that column blank as I am unable to should I enter zero?

Thank you

@Dmitry : The forum applicants charged in 1112 category as at 30th June are 24 in number, therefore the % of forum members representing the worldwide applicants in this category increases to 21%. In that case, I believe people still have a month or so to apply safely.

@Oscar 7 : If what you say is correct, it is somewhat near to what Dmitry claims. (25~24)

Thanks both for your replies.
