When will CIC move on with applicationssss :-[
This wait till the 16th is terrrrrrrribly longggggggggggggggggggg and wow! we have 4th of July in between! Hmph!

Can I ask what has 4th of July to do with canada CIC?

For eligible criteria, you must have continuous one year of experiences in one the 50 eligible NOCs.

For point criteria, you NOC got to be in Skill level O, A, or B category. So you will get points for 5 years.

The 7000 guideline clearly states that:

In order to receive points for all of the jobs you have had over the past ten years, your work experience must be in one or more occupations listed in Skill Type 0, Skill Level A or B of NOC 2011.

And it says in one or more occupations listed in Skill Type 0, Skill Level A or B of NOC 2011 and DID NOT SAY listed in one or more of the 50 eligible NOCs.

I don't know why still some people is making it controversial again and again in the name of "conservative" and "not so clear".

My confusion is around Post graduate diploma awarded by colleges which is generally the case in India for MBA. My college is not affiliated to any university it is recognized by AICTE which is the regulatory body for technical education in india.

I'm sure there are people on this forum who have applied with PGDM as their masters course I request them to pls confirm in this regard who should be attesting the marks sheets

So canada celebrate their Independence day on July 1st. And US 4th of July. So CIC will be closed on 4th of July as well?

Hi , What does it mean "based on points and higher u have more suitable u are pickup up" , I have exactly 67 points and send the app on 21st june and it reached on 26th june but not sure who signed it ,

I have already been worrying about my point system, but want some clarification from an expert in the form to conclude if I have right points ...

Age 35 : 12 points
Ielts : 19 points ( L=7,R=6.5,W=6,S=7) overall 6.5 band
BCA EDU : 21 points
Exp:8+yrs : 15 points NOC 2172
Total Points: 67 Points (assuming true to my knowledge) and applied .

Kindly suggest if I have done it right , and also let me know how we can find out who signed the documents once received.

What to Submit: Clear, legible photocopies of all final or provisional diploma certificates e.g. Diploma in Engineering, Diploma in Technology, or any other 10+3 diploma awarded by a State Board of Technical Education

How to Submit: To be submitted to WES by applicant.

And

What to Submit: All individual mark sheets indicating all subjects taken and marks obtained – issued by the appropriate State Board of Technical Education

How to Submit:Request for your mark sheets to be sent directly to WES by the appropriate State Board of Technical Education. -OR- You may have photocopies of your original mark sheets attested and dated by the State Board of Technical Education. Please request for the attested photocopies to be placed in an official sealed envelope and have the envelope returned to you to forward to WES.

NOTE: Attestations by persons outside the state boards, such as individual professors or external notary publics, will NOT be accepted.

All the other points are solid.

If you can back up your experience with Letters of Reference and/or Supporting documents you should have a solid 67 points.

That makes you good to go.

Dear Seniors, A friend of mine intends to apply for FSWP 2014 under NOC 3112 as General Practitioner.He has done MBBS from Pakistan and has experience of 6 years as a medical officer.Kindly advise him how to get assessed his qualifications as his profession is a regulated profession in Canada.I would be grateful if step by step guidance is provided.

Your calculation is OK and attained 67 points; so you are eligible equally who got 87.

If you sent your application through courier, you must have given a tracking number. Go to the site of the courier, go to the tracking page/link, input your tracking number, and you will get every details. Probably in the site, you have to input your e-mail address for POD (proof of delivery) and on that you will know who signed it at what time.

He will need to take ECA from MCC.

U will need to create an online acc (260 CAD.)
Source verification request (145 CAD need only MBBS CERT.)
And an ECA report request (98 CAD.)

my post graduate awarding institute is recognized by national technical education regulatory body AICTE, there are no state boards involved or universities.

I'm pretty confident nobody goes to AICTE for their marks sheets attestation coz they do not award any degrees or evaluate scores. I'm hoping somebody on this forum will please confirm if they got their PG diploma attested by their college registrar because exams are conducted and evaluated by college itself.

Do not delay for the PCC....Just submit ur package with ur IELTS score immediately...U can submit ur PCC on later stage....
