they gona launch express entry from jan next year, there gona be lot more applicants....if cio is taking so much time and stuck on 7th may applicants since last 3 weeks, then how they gona cope with so much incoming applications? wont that be generating piles of back log for cio again which they got rid in last 7 years? they said with so much confidence that we wont be generating any backlogs again but at the crawling speed they are going....I don't think so it gona finish in mentioned 14 to 16 months time for this year applicants to land in Canada! better apply as a student in parallel and leave for Canada, on the back end let the case get processed at crawling speeds!

getting frustrated now!

P.S. Express entry may be the reason CPC-Ottawa is working so fast. Most of the file for FSW will be cleared by end of this year. So no backlog exist & they can focus on EE.

Hi migratecanada2012 ,

Just out of curiosity. How do they know if he is working in testing or not other than what the Job duties letter say. Because, inside the organization, he can work on multiple things and no way HR can keep track of what everyone job duties are all about. For that matter, other than what the job duties letter say, there is no way anyone can check what the person is doing in the organization, except his immediate senior.

This is in regard to my FSWP 2014 application under NOC category XXXX, with UCI number 12345678. According to Document Checklist (IMM5612E), point 12 on Work Experience section, applicant's letter of reference must be written on company letter head. However, I am unable to provide the reference letter on company letter head as our HR policy give restriction on issuing job reference letter.

Finding no alternative, I have therefore submitted the reference letter in plain paper which stated my roles and responsibilities signed by my direct supervisor with his contact details and have also attached his/her business card. It could be noted that "Note" in Document Checklist (IMM5612E) mentioned to provide "explanation with full details as to why documentation is unavailable".

I have also attached e-mail communication of the HR about not providing reference letter on company letter head <if you have- try to get it>. Furthermore, I have provided the following documentations properly:
1. Appointment letter
2. Promotion letter
3. Pay slips
4. Achievement letter <if you have>

Based on the above circumstance, I would earnestly request you to allow me indemnity on providing reference letter on company letter head and accept reference letter on plain paper signed by my direct supervisor.

I thank you for your understanding on the same."

And in one fine morning, they may declare all the backlog files have been suspended and money will be refunded!!! ??? ??? ???

I m also in the same boat..8 th applicant and DD paid..hw long we hv to wait only allah knows...lets hope for the best...in sha allah..

Hello Admin/Seniors,

Have a serious doubt,I know this has been clarified,but couldnt get a clarity.

We have submitted Birth certificate,but name is no there in the certificate,but dob,parents name are all present.by the way we are from India.We have submitted 10th certificate as well,which has name and dob in it.

I dono if it is sufficient.Pls help if not,should we attach the affidavit?we have already sent the application.Is there something i could do?pls help
