Yes i didnt select International courier option. Any guess how long it will take?

Also, I have got the bank statement on black&white paper head rather than colour one. But they stamped and sign on that. Would that be suffice or it suppose to be on colour paper?

It is not clear how long it takes for documents to reach the recipient through regular post. Ideally you should consider anywhere between 1 -2 months.

Colored copies are not mandatory.

well I would certainly like to elaborate about eidi thing......its specifically a monetary gift given by all the elders of a family to all the youngsters, youngsters use this money to celebrate the occasion by having lunch or breakfasts/high teas or either buying gifts. the amount of eidi varies depending on the financial condition of elders, where u can get from Rs 100 upto Rs20000 and plus!

Hi need your help. My birth certificate doesnt have ma name, bt it has both my parents name,place of birth and my city name.my application reached cic on 12th may and i have included the same certificate( didnt knew about the name issue earlier)plus i have included my secondary school certificate which has all the information bt i didnt included any cover letter or affidavit. What can i do knw? Dnt wnt to get rejected obvsly. Plus i do have uci no from my last year application which was returned due to cap fill.

Hi guys,
I am new to this thread. I will sending my application in the 2nd week of August. I need seniors help in following questions

• Though I have sufficient funds in my savings account, but I have ECS activated for my home loan. Can I submit three valuation reports of my house. Will NDVO will accept property as funds.
• Secondly, two of my old companies has refused to provide experience certificate. However, I have joining letter and relieving letter for these companies, will this suffice.

I am not senior. But here is my take.

1. Answer is "NO". Property can not be shown as settlement funds. Only unencumbered and readily transferable funds can be considered as settlement funds ( Savings accounts balance/ Time deposits etc).

However your House can be shown as an Asset, also you need to mention your "Home Loan" as liabilities

2.It depends whether you need to claim points for these previous experiences as well.

If current work experience fetches you enough points for minimum eligibility , you can proceed. However supporting documents as you mentioned above for previous experiences needs to be accompanied with application .

With regard to Fee payment form SECTION A, Name of payer (if different from principal applicant) and address of payer (if different from principal applicant) should I write my name and address on it or leave N/A as I am the same payer and applicant ..

Do I have fill the folowing forms if they don't not appy to me or send a blank form
•Separation Declaration for Minors Travelling to Canada IMM5604E
•Statutory Declaration of Common-law Union IMM5409E
Additional Dependants Declaration Form IMM0008DEPENU

Hi,

My question to you :If your birth certificate does not contain your NAME , how will the immigration office identify it is your BC?

Secondly, SSC certificate is acceptable if it contains all of the below information:

- Your full name
- Your DOB
- Your parents names

To ascertain the payee (elder) and the beneficiary (younger), both of you have to provide the birth certificates (only in Eng/Fr; otherwise noarized translation), if not available, we accept Secondary school certificate as an alternate.

Yes in my opinion you should consider ordering duplicate reports immediately.

I will share my guess on this.

If photos ever got mixed between let's say a few packages by mistake they would want to be able to identify which photo belongs to which applicant. That's why the name is needed. Now sometimes very common names exist in certain parts of the world, e.g. John Smith. Now they would want a way to identify the correct John Smith to his application, if two John Smith's photos got mixed by error while checking files with the same names on two adjacent desks for example. Date of photo is essential because they ask to take photo in last whatever months that they do (don't want people to send photos from 6 years ago) and so they have enforced writing the date of photo for this very reason.

I doubt that to be reason...if so why they ask for one out of six to be left with nothing written on it......its a mystery!

I believe brother ashif is the eldest here (being the person who started this forum) so we all get eidi from him all the time in the form of his knowledge sharing and help to everyone!!!! Thanks to him and brother Century has also taken this path so thanks to him as well!!
