Hi,

Can anyone please confirm what document actually has to be produced against settlement fund? In my case ,I have deposited required amount recently and got bank certification letter along with bank statement that shows transaction of past six months. As I have deposited needed amount yesterday on my account. To be in the safe side, I did not submit transaction of past six months and I just sent bank certification letter which consists of xxx has this much amount till today and exchange rate of amount in CAD is xxx. Will it be okay in order to be eligible on this aspect?

Hi all.. Quick question..

Do I have to submit letter of reference for all the jobs I did for the past 10 years even if it's not connected to the NOC I am applying for?

Or can I just send the company's generic certificate of employment (company do not issue job description). Since I am not claiming any points for the said job.

Preferably provide reference letter for all the jobs.

If you don't need points for those and tough to get reference letter, then opt for only the company's generic certificate of employment.

+2 126 121 4007- again missed it. Lol

It was back to back call. No reason to believe that CIC called me as CEC application will open in another 3 months, and still about to receive file no. for FSW after 2-3 weeks.

Only bank balance certificate is fine and acceptable. ;D ;D ;D

Hi,

I am process of applying with my wife as the principal applicant. I have following queries:

- For proof of funds can we submit bank account certificates for both of us ?. i.e will they consider bank account balances of both of us or only of my wife. If they consider my wife's bank account funds then it would be insufficient as per requirement. I would also want to confirm minimum funds required for 2 adults + 1 child.
Not sure if you can submit bank account certificates for both of you - the amount required is CAD 18097 i.e approx. 10 Lakhs INR (its 9.4 but keep extra 60 to adjust for dollar inflation) If its not hard, try transferring the funds to a single account and then get a statement from the bank.
- ECA for my wife is already cleared. Do i have to attach original ECA with the application. In the covering letter sent by WES they have written that ECA is sent to CIC for FSW program by them. Do i have to again attach original ECA with the application ?

- I am also in the process of getting my ECA for future use for employment/study purpose in Canada. So should i get ECA under FSW category or general category. Which is advisable and more valid ?
Since you are not applying for FSW, it would suffice to get it under general category. I would suggest to start this process once you file your spouse's application and get a PER, better still get it validated once you get the Visa stamped.
- I am unable to convince my university to sign the transcript request form as required by WES. Is there any other agency which can do ECA without this form ? I have obtained transcripts in sealed cover from my university.
Please try utoronto - they would ask for a form to be signed by you and the sealed cover with edu credentials have to be sent from the university to utoronto.

Hi please help, i am in the last stage of sending my application.

Should i just send the secondary school certificate as a proof of DOB instead of the birth certificate? The SSC has my name, DOB and my parents official names as in passports. Also, should i attach an affidavit from parents confirming my DOB.

2) I am claiming employment points based on my current occupation and not my previous ones. So should i just mention the current employment in the 'economic classes' form even though i am attaching the reference letters from my previous employers as well and mentioning it in the 'background declaration form'. This information was told to me by a friend who has already received his PER and he only mentioned the employment for which he claiming points in the economic classes form.

I will be very grateful if some seniors can help me as i am on the verge of sending my application.

Country : India
ECAS status(with old uci) : ECAS couldnt identify me yet.

Note : I immediately got call from HDFC bank to confirm the transaction .
