Hi,

I am process of applying with my wife as the principal applicant. I have following queries:

- For proof of funds can we submit bank account certificates for both of us ?. i.e will they consider bank account balances of both of us or only of my wife. If they consider my wife's bank account funds then it would be insufficient as per requirement. I would also want to confirm minimum funds required for 2 adults + 1 child.
- ECA for my wife is already cleared. Do i have to attach original ECA with the application. In the covering letter sent by WES they have written that ECA is sent to CIC for FSW program by them. Do i have to again attach original ECA with the application ?
- I am also in the process of getting my ECA for future use for employment/study purpose in Canada. So should i get ECA under FSW category or general category. Which is advisable and more valid ?
- I am unable to convince my university to sign the transcript request form as required by WES. Is there any other agency which can do ECA without this form ? I have obtained transcripts in sealed cover from my university.

I would be really grateful if the moderators or other users on this forum can reply as much in detail as possible.

Settlement fund: It got to be 100% owned by principal applicant or spouse or jointly both of them.

Submission of ECA: CIC requires to submit original ECA, PCC, and IELTS with the application package.

ECA for education: Preferably general one.

Convincing University: You can name your university. If any of the forum member came from your university, s/he could give you suggestion.

Hello Friends.....I have just initiated the ECA process with WES. I have my IELTS score with me. Can you please guide me if I have to just wait till I receive my ECA result or I can meanwhile complete some other process which would be time consuming otherwise. I am applying from India and I had no idea initially that ECA would take another 8 weeks approx. Else I would have initiated this along with my IELTS application. Please advise.

Please go through the checklist and collect your documents in the required formats.
Start filling your applications so you would get more doubts, which can be resolved mean while.
Experience letters in required formats, Birth Certs in required formats are head aches...get them done...
Get ready with Proof of funds...

Yes, one of the university official has confirmed in a mail that he has sent the transcripts today only and for another university I wud have to visit personally for expediting the process and I expect the same to be sent by coming Monday.....one query I have regarding job experience.....is it like all the duties mentioned in the NOC should match with your current duties or if some of them are there even then its okay.

Can anyone please confirm what document actually has to be produced against settlement fund? In my case ,I have deposited required amount recently and got bank certification letter along with bank statement that shows transaction of past six months. As I have deposited needed amount yesterday on my account. To be in the safe side, I did not submit transaction of past six months and I just sent bank certification letter which consists of xxx has this much amount till today and exchange rate of amount in CAD is xxx. Will it be okay in order to be eligible on this aspect?

one query I have regarding job experience.....is it like all the duties mentioned in the NOC should match with your current duties or if some of them are there even then its okay. - If some/most of them matches the category then it should be fine, obviously we cannot meet all of them....
