Let's put our thinking hats on, US H1B is sponsored by employers, while Canada PR is self sponsored. That's the first and primary difference, MU!

Next I don't think I need to spell out (I rather do, than repent) H1B is for USA, while the PR discussion that we are having is for Canada. These are two different nations that we are talking about, and again two very different kinds of visa i.e. non-immigrant visa (H1B) versus immigrant visa (PR).

I must say this was not even a grapes to watermelon comparison, leave apart apples to apples!

Guys first off I apologize for not putting my details in the spread-sheet, but having had my package returned in 2 previous years I was a bit superstitious. Please accept my apology, no bad intentions here!

Just having read brother mk's tough news I too like Century was hyper-tensed especially because I am also a May 7th file received applicant for NOC 0111. The reason for my worry was also the fact that I did not have reference letter on company letter head, although I provided a letter by my manager on plain A4 paper and my manager's business card. I also included my company's offer letter from the time of joining, my pay stubs for 3 months and my form 16 for 2 years, issued by my company.

Please note that my payment was made by DD. Just now, although being very nervous (since hearing brother mk's news), I decided to check the ECAS status and it shows IN PROCESS. Additionally I have asked my bank to check the status of the DD, which I shall know by the end of the week.

Does the IN PROCESS status mean my payment must be charged, and I should await the PER e-mail? I am so very tensed as last week after checking with several members here I had again couriered a cover letter (which reached CIC yesterday, received by Mike) that explains why I could not send a reference letter on company letter head.

Damn this is a quite a moment!!! Thanks brother ashif, Century, Partner Shah (Oscar Shah LLP waley ), neel, future_canadian, kollins and all other friends who have helped one another. Special thanks again goes to ashif and Century for the selfless help they provide here. Time for some beer instead of lunch today...LOL!!!!!

My education is bachelors of technology in information technology...
My experience is:
2008-2009 Production engineer in manufacturing firm in which my father is a partner..
2009-2012 Lecturer prompted to AP later in college affiliated to recognized University
2012-till Manager in manufacturing firm in which my father is a proprietor..

As i planned to put my application under NOC 4011...
However, today i came to know my agent put my application under NOC 0911....He said my case is strong in this case......

what you guys think...please comment.. ! ! ! !

Hi Besthar,
For an application received on 3rd of June, fee charge estimate is about 23rd of September - 24th of October,
and PER estimate is not shown in that table for this date, but it's usually 1-4 weeks after the fee charge.

I am attaching her IELTS result as i am claiming points for that and apart from that her birth certificate and marriage certificate.
Do i need to add any annexure or document checklist would be suffice?
Any advice would be great help.

Thanks, kollins!!!!! My application for NOC 0111 was received on May 7th 2014 at 1:57 PM by Mike. This is the same lot in which many other applications have been received. My payment was made by DD.

Actually I have openly shared about my reference letter not being on company letter head, and brother Century had guided me on what cover letter I should send. Ashif had initially suggested to send the cover letter, instead of losing sleep over not sending it. But until now I did not know if my reference letter, despite not being on company letter head, will get accepted or not.

I am still in a denial state (that happens when you file has returned for cap full on 2 previous years LOL), until I get my PER e-mail, for which I will have to wait for what 15-20 odd days as per our stats guru's (dmitrych) analysis this morning.

I understand your plight...myself having gone through denials and rejections twice in four months and having to send an entirely new application package without know what went wrong!
Life have a way of teaching us lessons.....some times...its hurtful and painful.
Perseverance is the key....not loosing hope.
There is problem in falling down...it becomes critical when you don't pick yourself up.
I'm really happy with you buddy....and I hope your positive news will translate into multiple positive news for other forum members that has experienced denials and rejection severally!

No, you don't need to add any Work or education related documents for your spouse.

Adding annexture is optional. But ensure providing document checklist with properly marking yes.

Can i provide a DD from Thomas Cook? Will it be acceptable.

Should the DD name be THE RECEIVER GENERAL FOR CANADA or RECEIVER GENERAL FOR CANADA (without the THE)
