Hi everyone :)
According to the charts, it looks like CIC is charging fees / issuing PERs with a speed close to linear, so it makes a good base for estimates.
I've made the estimates - it's pure mathematics, without any guesses, based on the data we have in the spreadsheet. You can see them highlighted in yellow on the image below. They properly account for number of applications received on each particular day, work days / weekends, possible noise in the data, - everything to make the estimates as accurate as possible. Of course, there is this assumption that CIC processing speed is linear.

According to the estimates, it looks like PERs for May 6 applicants should start really soon, possibly tomorrow :)

Accuracy of the estimates significantly decreases for dates far into future, and even for close dates the estimate will probably be plus/minus a week or even more, but for those folks who are asking when CIC will start charging the fees / issuing the PERs, I believe, this estimate is as precise as we can possibly get at all, given the current data :)

Hello Seniors,

I am planning to file my application for FSW Canada. I am done with my IELTS, ECA. Now i am confused regarding my experience letter.

I started my carrier as Telecommunication Engineer (Company A for 8 Months) likely to be NOC 2147 , and then i changed to another company (Company B for 5 years and 9 months till now ) likely to be a combination of NOC 0131(Telecommunication carriers managers) and NOC 2173 (telecommunications software specialist).

My current job duties are a mix of NOC 0131 (90% Match) and NOC 2173 (90% Match).

Also in my current company i was promoted 3 times from engineer->Senior Engineer->Technical Leader->Senior Technical Leader.

So my question is:

1. Which NOC should i apply ?
2. Should i get experience letter for all the designations or just current designation?

Note: I donot have team/people supervision experience.

Waiting for you reply !

Brother,

U have only option to apply and that is 2173. I am afraid if that NOC's CAP will reach, if make more delay.....

2. Should i get experience letter for all the designations or just current designation?--- One ref for letter for same company will suffice....

Just in case it was not a joke, the estimated start is about 14th of July, end is about 6th of August, but let's wait and see :)

Also, as a bonus for those who are interested, here's an Application Status Dynamics chart for FSW 2013 applications, which illustrates that CIC fee/PER processing speed has been really close to linear from May 2013 up to September 2013, and then it slowed down a bit:

(all statuses past File Transfer are kept as File Transfer here, as they depend too much on a specific visa processing office)

Hello everyone

I just came across this forum a few days ago and let me tell you it has been very helpful. I just love the way how everyone over here is helping each other. I am a newbie but i hope someone over here will help me out. Please I need elders on this forum to reply to me.

My husband is using a paid immigration consultant who is also an active member of ICCRC. The consultant is in Pakistan while we are in Oman as my husband is currently working here. We have given all the documents mentioned in the checklist to him, he has filled out out our forms, sent them to us for our signatures and then we send it back to him. My husband is applying for NOC 2281.

Now the thing is he says he has sent the application on 22nd june and is willing to give us the tracking number. What i want to know from experienced people on this forum is that, is there any other information (other than the tracking id) that he should be giving us?? I mean is there some kind of a computer generated number or something that you have to keep with you?? I am sorry but because we did not fill out the forms ourselves and did not send it ourselves as well we are clueless as to how we are supposed to know if he has actually sent OUR application package. I hope someone over here understands my question and helps me out
Looking forward to a quick reply. Thankyou.

Hello,

I have below doubts regarding the documents required for FSW:

1). I am working with a IT giant in India. Yesterday I went to my HR to talk about the work experience certificate, but he refused to give me my certificate which have my roles and responsibilities on a company's letterhead. He told me they can only provide my full name, current designation, joining date, company's contact information (telephone, fax, email etc). He asked me to check if there is any alternative to this, to display my roles in a different manner or not. Please suggest if there is any. No alternative has been spelt out in the guideline other than letter head. 1stly get what you have. You can ask you supervisor to do it which is better than HR. In case, they don't provide in letter head, ask HR/supervisor to write you job details in white paper with signature and contact details. Also, if possible, ask your HR to write an e-mail that it is the company policy not to provide job details in letter head. You add a cover letter explaining why letter head has not been attained attaching HR e-mail for refusal of using letter head, job details in plain paper, experience certificate in letter head, your appointment letter, promotion letter, achievement letter (if you have), business card of the person who signed in the plain paper, and pay slips.

2). I am single now. Though my brother and brother-in-law is living at Canada and my parents live inn India. So regarding Proof of Funds, do I have to show $11,824 (CAD), which is for 1 family member or do I have to show $24,920 (CAD), which is for 5 family members ? Show only $11,824 (CAD). For inflationary adjustment, add some more settlement fund.

3). My brother is living in Canada right now and he just got his PR in this January. So what all documents are required from his side to get me 5 points fro him ? Also will it work if he send me the photocopies of his documents and I pint them out here and include in my application? OR there is any other way to show those documents? Proof of status: PR card photocopy. Proof of relationship: Birth certificate. Proof of residency: Utility bill payment/credit card statement/employment letter/lease agreement where contain your brother's name and address. (it cannot be more than 6 month old).

4). Please suggest me if I should focus on some other document which may take longer time to get, so I can apply quickly once I get my WES certificate.
Documents required are PCC, Birth Certificate, IELTS, and WES (all original copy except Birth Certificate). If miss any of the docs, start collecting those.

Also please go through the document checklist ( http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5612E.pdf ) and instruction guide http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/EG7TOC.asp .

Thanks in Advance.

Regarding Additional Family information IMM 5406 form,
According to this form, We need to complete ALL names in English and in you native language (for example arabic, chinese etc..). Where should i write my name in Native language?

All name should be in native language (Mother, Father, Spouse, Brother)
