Write NA (by pen) after printing out.FromDrToCanada said:On form IMM0008ENU_2D for question 9 Citizenship(s), part 2 I find now way of entering NA. do I have to leave it blank?
Well, I didn't know such programming is even possible with Excel, especially with that dynamic highlighting and all.dmitrych said:Good news, everyone!
I think I've finally designed The Ultimate Chart I've been looking for, - it's a pinnacle of FSW statistics visualization ;D
It's now available on the Charts sheet.
On this chart, all applications are sorted by their received date, from left to right, with their statuses shown. May 1 is on the left, and currently May 8 is on the right (you can hover your mouse over the chart in the spreadsheet to see exact app. received dates).
Bar length is proportional to application count (not percents, like on the older chart), so it's easy to see how many applications it's left to process for a given App. Received date, - AND it's also easy to extrapolate trends into the future, because the chart shows application status dynamics (on the vertical axis), not just a static picture for today.
Moreover, all abandoned (inactive) spreadsheet entries are also clearly visible, with no fee encashed for a long time. I suppose, these entries also include some percentage of returned applications, which just didn't get back to applicants yet, and maybe some rare applications which for some reason take significantly longer time to process.

Kudos and +1 to you for this.
So, are you part of the admin team, or members can also have access to the spreadsheet in terms of making updates to it ?

You are worrying too much. Do as the instruction says. Usually, you will have to write N/A either where you are instructed to or where the question is necessary to be answered. otherwise leave them blank. Fax number, for example, is not a required information. If you can then write N/A, if the space greys out then leave it alone. Or if you really want to, then write N/A after printing the form (but don't need to write anything on the general information form since you will validate it before printing).FromDrToCanada said:On form IMM0008ENU_2D for Contact Information - Question 5 - Fax no. I dont have a fax but can't write NA either cause is a numeric value and form validation fails. What do I have to do? Leave it blank?
Thanks
You can show that latest statement alone or a bank certification letter for the current balance would be even better.vishal shrestha said:What if the balance of principal applicants' account (proof of fund) goes down below the required level sometimes (may be 4-5 times a month and the statement is of 3-4 months old) and the same is reflected in the account statement which we submit to CIO at the time of application submission?? Do that lead our application into rejection?? Or it is necessary to have required level of money in all times??
So you are talking about a future date, AFTER you have submitted the application? It is best to keep the amount in your account at all times. But in case you can't do that and then CIC asks for monthly statements, then you can provide a reasonable and detailed explanation for the dips along with the statements ( for example, if you invested the money in your business, or bought stocks/house/car etc).vishal shrestha said:My concern is would if i submit a statement which is of current date but has a record from 3 months from now and the status of balance is volatile (even below the required proof of fund amount sometimes), would that be acceptable to CIC??
Why SBI can't give such a creticate? I got from SBI only, just check with Manager directlydeep2014 said:Hi All,
Had a doubt regarding my bank funds.
I had funds from my salary credits to citibank. Citibank gave me Bank certificate with balance in account
Now I am thinking to shift my funds to SBI (new opened account) and get a Fixed deposit done. SBI manager is telling they cant give Bank certificate with balance in account, however the same can be printed on Passbook with Fixed deposit details..
I am thinking to go for SBI because of better interest rates.
Would it be okay to show SBI passbook copies with FD details and Fixed deposit copy as fund proofs ???
What is your current country of residence? Is it S. Korea? If so, then you do not have to mention each and every trip you make back to India. The question asks you to write down your travel history or trips in countries other than your country of residence (S. Korea) and country of origin (India). So, only need to write trips to a third country.pkuldip said:Can anyone help me on below 2 questions. I have filled all forms but below 2 items are bothering me a lot :
1) I am working in South Korea and I have 15 days vacation after every 6 months of work. I travel to my country India during this vacation. Is it required to show the 15 days as vacation in the personal history in background declaration form. I have worked here for 2.5 years and I have had 5 such vacations of 15 days each till now? For example-
2014-03 to 2014-06-Job-XXX Engineering
2014-03 to 2014-03-Vacation to India for 15 days
2013-08 to 2014-03-Job-XXX Engineering
Or I need to show it as
2013-08 to 2014-06-Job-XXX engineering?
Either will be fine. I would just put down the second option since you still had your job while on vacation.
2) Another question is for travel history. I am working in south korea for last 2.5 years on work VISA and before that I have never travelled outside my country India. But now I visit my country every 6 months. How should I show it in travel history? Travel should be shown from India (in that case length is around 150 to 180 days for each trip and purpose is work) or from Korea (Purpose is vacation and trip length is 15 days in each case). If I show from Korea then I miss the first travel from India to Korea. Is it ok?
