I applied under NOC 1112 and my application was received at CIC on May 6, 2014. Till date my CC is not charged and I am kind of getting worried because I see people getting charged whose application reached after me i.e. May 7, 2014. I hope this doesn't indicate a bad signal Please advise.

It is not a sign for anything in FSWP. It is just a survey from WES

WES is sending out survey e-mails to everyone these days.
I've got my WES report 2 months ago and received the survey e-mail last week. That has no relevance to FSW process.

I'm the last applicant of 2013, my app received on Apr 30, 2014.
CC charged on May 14 and got PER on May 16.

MR & RPRF on Jun 20.


My ecas added one more line "2.We started processing your application on June 18, 2014"

Regarding work experience....Freelancer work
Hi friends..please solve this predicament..
I have worked for a firm for 2 months as a software engineer..it was more like a freelancing..they needed some security feature programming for their website and i did it for them and they paid me the salary also. They have given me the work experience certificate and also has mentioned my roles, my salary. The firm is related to educational coaching. Will this work experience be counted a valid. After that i worked for 23 months full time in a company as Software engineer.
Please give your precious views ?

As long as you were paid for your work, you are fine. Just support your application with payment transfer info (similar to salary stubs).

1. Current occupation is your current occupation title and intended occupation is one of the 50 eligible occupations which you are intending to take

2. Write with pen

3. Do not leave it blank . Write "refer to attached sheet" and include your duties on a separate sheet . Write your full name, title of the form , question number being answered on top and sign+date at the end

4.Yes you can mention unemployed. You are supposed to be truthful about your personal history . So no negative implications.

Ask your questions without hesitance.

i got my nomination lettro form nova scotia province and i am preparing my documnet to apply for CIC

MY QUESTIAN , about appling to CIC
they asked about copies of some documents and i think all of you guys send to them the document so
when i sent a copy does i am only my a photocopy or after it , it is am ust o to certify the photocopy
because i have to certiy it , it will b emore easy to just send the original one

I am filling out my application package and need the expert opinion..As of yet these are the quetions where i am facing issues...


1. What do I fill in "Current and Intended Occupation"

2. " there is Less space in ocupation box..how do we complete this" as my NOC is 1123 and it itself is very long to be fillied in this box !!
3. Less space in the main duties box - Should i leave it blank as i am attaching reference letters or mention " attached overleaf or something?
4. I am showing a Gap in employment - can I mention unemployed? will this have any negative implications

Request you all to please help...although i might bother you again with some more queries

1. Just fill your current and intended occupation.

2. Attach extra sheet. Do cross reference your sheet with the page whose information it is going to carry.

3. No, fill it. Same as above point 2.

4. No problem with stating the truth.

Hmm that makes me wonder, how will they contact if the applicant & the employer are in different time zone. e.g. there are number of cases in which the applicant from India is working for a US based company (no office in India). I understand they like to contact both sides simultaneously to cross check the facts. Undecided

Not sure why you are so paranoid about CIC contacting your employer. 'am sure yours is not a unique case. In fact CIC may hire a 3rd party for such verfications.

These are scary days guys lots of things will come in ur minds ..that is common...what if i'm working in India and the CIC calls my lead on office no. and it's 9:00 PM here...and what if it does not click the officer that's it's around night time here in India n lead's not there in office...and he just !! ...... lol.....such things will come in mind of anxiety... god make the process faster...

Now I am stuck at Schedule A - Background Info form :-[

1. in the No of years for Primary , Secondary and university education what shall i mention - I am from India..

So 1st to 5th - 5yrs of Primary.....6th to 10th - 5 years of secondary and then 11th till bachelors degree another 5 years? Please suggest.

Also in the field of Study - what do we write - all subjects? space is constraint. and from when should this be mentioned? 10th onwards or 12th onwards?

hello everyone. i have done some mistakes in my forms plz help are they normal or serious:

1 forget to fill my name in name field of declaration in generic form.

2 in "current and Intended occupations" in generic form i fill only "Telecommunication' at both places and not from 50 occupations list.

3 filled nothing in liabilities whereas filled assets and settlement funds equal to each other.

pls reply should i be hope full or send app again.
