My bank is issuing DD of Imperial Bank of Commerce Payable at Toronto..... is that ok or it has to be payable at Nova Scotia? Is there anyone who has DD from this Bank Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce and payable at Toronto...... Please advise if that is right step or I need to rectify something.....thanks in Adv

I personally don't think it would be a problem. As long as it payable to 'Receiver General for Canada'. Otherwise the guide would have said where it must be payable at.

My WES status changed to Evaluation in Progress 2 days back. Any idea how long will they take to complete evaluation and send report. In their email they have specified completion date as 17th July.

Then i graduated from college in business field. So taking into consideration that educatuon need to be related to experience, they will count my college? Same here. They showed scheduled completion time to be July 17th, but finished it in 1 day. I myself was surprised like anything. So get prepared for a good news coming your way soon.

For immigration purpose, education actually doesn't really have to be according to the field of experience. Although for further job prospects, it might be.

So you should be fine, and will get the points for your bachelors. 21 for one, and 22 if you sent docs for two of them.

As they have mentioned 17 july, i guess you will get yor report delivered to you by 10 july

There are ONLY CC's charged for 7th May applicants. No Info on DD's on the spreadsheet. ???

Have any of the DD's encashed for 7th May? My eCAS status is showing "We were not able to find ....."

Please advise - How long we(7th May DD applicants) can wait to get atleast first DD encashment.

He would be eligible if he also has at least one year experience doing what all NOC 3112 people are supposed to do. Otherwise, there should be no problem. If you are wondering of the degree being in Ayurveda than the Modern medicine, I don't think that affects anything here.

Thank you nskatcv. But i have a confusion. for NOC 3112 we need to do ECA assessment from Medical Council of Canada. I surf that website and found that my friend's college is listed over there but his degree name i.e. BAMS is not listed. So does this mean that he is not eligible to apply under this category?

I am not sure what the job descriptions of your friend are. But based on the title, it looks like your friend won't qualify. Ayurvedic medicine is under NOC 3232.

Also, the best thing to do would be to contact the assessing body directly as this is an unusual situation and members of this forum will likely only speculate.

A friend from other forum got his app back from NOC 2174, even thou he sent 2 reference letters containing everything they asked for. The thing is: he didn't use the exact keywords from CIC website.
I didn't as well and I'm a May 6th applicant, I'm pretty sure my app will be returned. With that in mind, I kindly ask:

The company I work for already told me they will NOT provide me such letter. I have 3 years (2007 to 2010) + 1 year (2013-current) experience with them. What should I do to provide enough info? Would it be valid to write a letter (in english) myself and collect like 5 signatures + phone + e-mail from 5 colleagues + my supervisor (not manager, he wouldnt help me)? HR will not help me at all and I know it.

What options do I have? Any tips?

Would you mind explain "not using the exact keyword from CIC website". You mean the job description has to be the same keywords with the NOC description?
