Yes you are right and I apologize if we got sidetracked into another issue you were not initially asking about...mr_masry said:Guyz ,with all my respect, it seems that you've no clue about what an experience letter means .. applying as a federal skilled worker under certain NOC is something and working in this occupation in Canada is a totally different things ...
the requirements that you've just posted is for working as a Medical radiation technologist in Canada not for applying under this NOC for FSW ...
For example, few years ago ( I think in 2011 ) Dentists were listed on the FSW list ... All the 300 people who applied and succeded to immigrate to Canada didn't meet the Employment requirements found on this website :
http://www5.hrsdc.gc.ca/noc/english/noc/2011/QuickSearch.aspx?val65=3113
Because Simply, these requirements are for Practicing this occupation or profession in Canada, not for Immigration ... ask anyone and he will tell you that ..
I got this from other forums...but they are just forums..... in my opinion if you graduated as an engineer and applying as a doctor cause you have the experience, might be little weird ...but if it works then theres nuthing like it...medwiz said:My understanding is that job experience does not necessarily have to match qualifications. ..you get assessed on your qualification separately. ..but naturally this will be difficult for our friend here (which might complicate his situation further) since his degree is in dentistry. ..so simply WES or any of the other assesment authorities will not be able to assess his degree since he needs a licensing body from Canada to do that (Canadian Dental Asociation I believe)...
mr_masry said:I don't agree with you in that point, I already had my Education Credential Assessed by WES .. getting your Education credential assessed is something totally different than working as a dentist in Canada.. I don't need to take any examination to assess my education.
the WES report which I hold in my hands right now says that my degree is equivalent to " Five Years of Professional Study in Canada " ... so that will never be a problem ..
my only problem will be like you said , that my experience certificate will be on Dental Center letterhead ..

That is exactly what I was trying to point out (and failing). Even if one gets through the initial review process, it would be difficult to convince a case officer that a dentist would like to move to Canada and work as a radiation technologist especially since this is also a regulated profession and would require a related degree to actually work as one.
Warning; whatever job title you use must match that on NOC list and must be the same as you have in your educational qualification.
got this from

Feel free to ask more question.
So be it if I have no clue. I gave my opinion on your situation and made it clear. But again it seems to me that not having a license yet (in the case of the dentists) is a different issue than not being educated in the field that you are claiming you want to work in. Even more complicating is the fact that this is a regulated profession.mr_masry said:Guyz ,with all my respect, it seems that you've no clue about what an experience letter means .. applying as a federal skilled worker under certain NOC is something and working in this occupation in Canada is a totall different things ...

You did provide info I didn't know about so many thanks for that ...but 2 things if I may:mr_masry said:never mind at all .. I'm sure you are only trying to help me and I really appreciate it, we are here to exchange information and help each other not just to answe my questions
You are more than welcome
oh..i see :mr_masry said:thanks for trying to help , but actually its a very wrong information and the person who wrote it knows nothing about applying to FSW, the NOC to which you are applying is not related by any means to your Educational Qualification .. I already know some people who succeded to Immigrate with a qualification totally different from the NOC that they applied to ..

1- Notarization is required for photocopied documents. ..it states that clearly here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/EG7TOC.asp#eg73
Actually, no. Notarization is required only for documents translated into ENglish or French. For everything else, plain photocopies or originals as requested is sufficient.
2 - how do I get my medical degree assessed by MCC for FSW purposes?
Put your self in CIC 's shoes and see... You are the authority to let a person come into your country and need to to check the experience letter and allot points. what would you do if you see a plain paper with no letter head? who you just believe it or..you will put it aside for a detailed background check? and process more delaynm1985 said:Hi all,

Securing job is not possible staying out of Canada at all...firstly you need to be registered and need to have a licence. to obtain a licence you need to write the exam where the centers to write exam are not available out side Canada.dsharma9 said:The question is I submit an application without job offer now, the application is returned as the CAP is filled...can I reapply after securing a job offer before the program closes ?
