Hi all,

My manager has said he doesnot have the power to give me the roles and responsibilities in the company letter head so can any one plz tell what shall i do now???

1. can it be written on the plain paper and he signs the same along with his id card photocopy ?

2. can i get a email from him ( official / work email id) stating my job duties ?


plz reply as am stuck in mid way....

Hi,

Take this from our Champion member Century:

1. If your supervisor/HR don't want to give you experience letter, try to get it someone senior to you within your department;
2. If point 1 fails, try to get it someone from your colleagues of your department; ensure giving full contact details along with the visiting card.
3. If point 2 fails, try to get it someone/two from you colleagues of your company;ensure giving full contact details along with the visiting card.
4. If point 3 fails, then go for self attested/notarized affidavit;
NB: The lower option you choose, the weaker the documentation.

For all of the above cases, explain in cover letter, why you are not able to get the experience letter from your supervisor/HR. Also ensure providing appointment letter, promotion letter, increment letter, and pay slips.

I've noticed that there is a substantial amount of applicants from the UK. If I may ask, what's prompting those already in the UK to apply for PR to Canada? Is it better job prospects? Comparative ease in getting a PR? Better standard of living?

I'm asking because I'm a little curious

Hi,

you are looking at the London Visa office, which is responsible for processing applications from Pakistan, and I guess some other nations.

Check the nationality column and you will realize none have applied from the UK.

Having LOR on a plain paper reduces the legitimacy of the document .

But then, if the company doesn't provide LOR on LH, nothing much can be done apart from Supervisor/Colleague letter etc!

Your PER mail will come in 2 weeks just check your mail one time a day preferably closing time of CIC ... You have to check the SPAM folder as well. I want to tell one thing in common... if CIC charged for your application means .... accepted unless they found discrepencies ...( mostly in background check) ... so relax and enjoy ur weekend ....I am a 7th may applicant (9:47 am) , I saw 6 people in category got CC charged ( their application received after mine)...still I am hopeful.. In your case its over.

The question is I submit an application without job offer now, the application is returned as the CAP is filled...can I reapply after securing a job offer before the program closes ?

Yes. There is no cap for application under employment offer. But you will have to have an LMO approved job offer (if LMO applies to you). Even if the current FSW program closes, EOI starting in 2015 will give priority to people with valid job offers.
