Hi guys! Did you only include photocopies of your experience certificates for the application?

Yes copies would suffice.

Thanks.

That's right, although mine was attested by notary as being a true copy of the original document!

I had my certificate specifically made for immigration purpose only so I was thinking if I should just include the originals.

Validity of PCC is usually 1 year from the date of issue....others please comment.

Thanks Harit for the detailed information!!

I have one more query.... My friend will be sending across his FSW application by second week of July. What will be a good time when he should initiate this process; As I believe PCC older then 3 months is not valid.....

Also; how much time does FBI take from the date of receiving our form... I read somewhere that they take 28 days... is that true??

As per my understanding PCC is valid upto 1 year.
Today is the good time to start the process :) :).
FBI will take about 1.5-2 months. so, i advise you to start the process from today onward.

Sending originals will certainly harm no one.

But it is advisable to strictly follow the requirements as per the document checklist .

Originals may be requested later by your local VO . At the moment copies are enough.

Thanks

Never a good idea, especially when that is not asked. Who knows when these originals might come in handy again!

Hi Guys,

Please advise me.. I have got a letter issued by the bank stating that I have 13218 CAD in my account as on 28th May,2014. But the letter was dated as 17th June,2014. Is that ok to produce??

Thanks in Advance!!

hi anusha

should be ok coz if the letter is signed on 17th june , it only means there must be no transaction between 28th may-17th june .

Believe me whatever I or anyone here answers this question will be an educated guess at most...2173 is a "hot" NOC but you've done your bit and no need to worry about it now...hoping that CIC would give us another CAP update just to make things a little clearer

You are right. Thanks, medwiz! :)

Hello Friends,

One of my friends is applying under NOC1111. I have a query with respect to PCC. He has lived in USA for over 1 year in the last 10 years; to be more precise during 2008 & 2009. Does he require a PCC from USA as well??
yes
