Hi Guys,

I m a May 6th Application (Application was received on 6th May) But my CC hasn't been charged. It has started to worry me because i can see CC charge status for People from Late May as well. My NOC is 2173. Is there a way i can check back on my app status or i just need to sit tight and hope sooner or later they'll charge?

Appreciate your help!

Hello friend the CC charge has not crossed 7th May yet so 6th May is not of issue currently. I am sure there are a lot of files and each one is unique in its own way and has different processing times.

So I suggest just wait it out .. be positive and hope for the best !!! 8)

Experts I just want to ask one more thing I have seen that Generic Form is updated for July 2014 and the previous one was March 2014 I have filled the same and send the file but it has not reached CIO yet do I need to fill the form again or the old one will be fine. I have checked the form the only difference is the bar code is not available is new form as instead of 8 pages its now 5 pages and no other changes been done. Please suggest..
You are fine....don't worry.
Cheers.

Hi Guys.. I am new at this forum.. even i am not sure if I am asking my question at right place ??

I have sent my FSW file via DHL to Novascotia on 16th June..I am asking this question on 20th June (My DHL is not yet delievered to NS visa office)

I was going through the cic.gc.ca website to check the updates and just noticed that they have introduced a new Generic Application form to canada (IMM0008) the ref month and year reads JULY 2014, while the bottom of the site suggests that they have last updated the site on 16th June 2014.

This is the date when I DHL my application form....

My specific question is that, now as they have introduced a new application form.. does that mean they will over rule all the earlier forms ??

what would be my case ?? at the bottom of all the forms I have submitted, I have signed and dated 15.06.2014 ( a day before I sent my file)

will they consider the date of my signing the form and accept my form or they would reject it ...as it is now out of date...

any comment would be grately appreciated.... if some one has a phone no of canada immigration where I can call and find out... would also be a help to me...

guys pls help......
Relax.....you are fine.
Just be calm.....it's not affecting u.
Cheers.

Here is a small statistic that I have made to clarify the reason of why CIC is stucking in May 7th applicants.

5-May 50 5.08%
7-May 138 14.02%
8-May 69 7.01%
9-May 54 5.49%
12-May 63 6.40%
14-May 59 6.00%

This statistic is based on comparing between the received applications per day versus the total received applications until now (dates applications in forum = 984 applications). It can be clearly seen that there are only 6 days which have percentage higher than 5% as per above data, all other days are lower than 2%. In other words, those six days are the bottle neck, after that processes will be smoother, faster and easily to be predict.
Let's wait and pray until CIC finish those heavy days.

Cheers

Does someone of you guys know if I can count my work experience from the US where I worked on cash without work authorization. I have a experience letter from the firm I worked for though.
Will CIC question my eligibility for FSW visa?
Greatly appreciate any honest advise

You mean you want to include unauthorized work experience ? Absolutely NO. That can create a big problem for you if questioned.
Will CIC question my eligibility for FSW visa? CIC is unpredictable. They might, they might not. No one has concrete answer for that.
Greatly appreciate any honest advise

I guess people answered your question earlier too. It would be a mistake to use such type of 'ingenuine' experience, especially when you have to write your status as a person on a visa without work authorization.

Cash is the only reward in such situations. You won't be able to disclose this to any authorities, USA, Canada, or anywhere else.

Thanks .. received...

As several people replied to this query earlier...This kind of behaviour if found out by the Canadian authorities would of course lead to an automatic rejection of your PR application ( in fact it would probably deny you entry into Canada on ANY sort of Visa )

I'm not really into taking the morale high ground here but seriously this kind of thing is the reason why we have to go through all the checks, interviews, questioning, providing numerous bank statements and proofs of funds etc...whenever we desire to enter any Western/European/North American country whether to visit or to work. They need to make sure that we don't abuse their system and it's a real shame that you have proved them right and done just that...

My application reached on 7th May under NOC 2281. MY DD has not been encashed yet. I am expecting to receive the PER by mid of July (please correct me if i am too optimist). In how much time can i expect the Medical date and what is the procidure for medical ?

Actually i am currently out of country for 3 months. I am afraid it do not complicate the things.

Please advise.
