Question: If your application is unsuccessful, does CIC refund you with their cheque or they return the DD you have submitted? Then if it takes them> 6 months to return the package the DD will be rendered useless?
[size=10pt][size=10pt]Most time...when your application is unsuccessful....you wont even be charged at all.
If you have been charged and your application does not meet all the criteria of applicable Ministerial instruction,you will be given a final negative determination of eligibilty ...a refund of your processing fee will also be initiated and you will be informed with your NERs notification.
Please check the latter part of (see link below)page 10 and 2nd bullet point of page 11 for proper understanding of this scenario.....see the link below

Hi,

I have given the employment letter with my designation and the time since I am working in the company...job duties were submitted on plain paper with supervisors sign and business card...I have also provided the offer letter pay slips...but the mention of hours is not there explicitly...in the offer letter among st several employment conditions (around 2-3 pages full) there is a mention of me devoting my full time to the job and not undertake any other work....how would that work...? I'm worried.....is there any thing which I can do now....like take a new employment letter with job hours...would that be acceptable....??

As long as you mention Full Time employment, there will be no problem related to working hour. :) :)

[size=10pt][size=10pt][size=10pt][size=10pt]1.YES
2.Supplimentary information (IMM 5562) is meant to be filled ONLY BY THE PRINCIPAL APPLICANT.
3.Additional dependent form (IMM0008DEPENU) is meant to be filled for your dependants that are not contained in the generic form which means there is a limit to which number of dependants that the generic form can contain.....I'VE NOT SEEN ANYBODY GETTING TO THAT LIMIT YET.....You don't need it.
Cheers.

I have a follow-up question to this;

I am applying for me and my family(spouse and child) and hence can show any FDs or bank balance in my wife;s account or my child's account as POF . But the query here is, if I am a joint account holder with my mother and there is funds in her account, can that be shown as POF, mind you .. my mother would not be shown as a co-applicant for visa.

Response would be highly appreciated ... Thnks

Settlement fund must be owned 100% by principal applicant, or spouse, or jointly by principal applicant and spouse. Any deviation from this will not be acceptable.

But I have already paid upfront for the DD. If I get my DD back after 6 months (the validity period is 6 months) then I won't be able to redeem it back at the bank from which I purchased the DD?

[size=10pt]The truth is that you will only get an automated generated response from them.The best bet is what you have done.
I can only think of two address which have been used to communicate to me...see below
Question @ cic.gc.ca (I used this to make request to CIC)
cic-sydney-search-enquiry @ cic.gc.ca (CIC ued this to respond with an auto generated mail to me)
below is their customised response if it makes meaning to you.......wish you luck!

Hi,

I am making an application under HR managers, NOC 0112. However my designation is:

1. Assistant Manager - Human Resources 11 months
2. Team Leader - Human Resources 6 years

However my duties for both designations have been same and matches with NOC0112. Can I apply under Human resource managers, even if I have not completed 1 year with a Title of Assistant Manager.

Suggest to wait at least one month and then test your luck.

No offense but I wouldn't agree with you on this. Mentioning full-time on reference letter is not enough one has to mention working hours on reference letter. I mean working 5 days a week for 4 -5 hours a day is also considered a full-time employment. Mentioning just full-time on reference worked in few cases as proper documentation was provided regarding companies policy of not mentioning working hour on reference letter and supporting document such as pay-stubs, etc

If your payment was processed, they will re-issue DD made out to your name. Not sure if this is the same case when they return applications without processing payments.

Full time means 40+ hours in USA and Canada, so mentioning full time is perfectly fine
