Hi seniors,

I need advice. Century had already replied this post though I still would like to hear more opinions.

I just found out a mistake on the Generic Form.
Education/Occupation Detail
Question 2 Number of years of education in total
Indicate the total number of years of formal education that they completed, including elementary and secondary school.
I misunderstood and filled in only the highest education study period instead of total numbers of years.

And I have another minor mistake that would need to be fixed.
On the columns of the main duties (of the Schedule 3 Form, Q.12b), we have only wrote " please refer to the attachment" by meaning of looking for the reference letters(experience letters) we attached instead.
I had two kind seniors answered this inquiry before.

But now it adds one more minor mistake. It make me feel butterfly in stomach.
Shall I replace all of them? My application is not yet being processed. (received at May 21)
Shall I give it a try?

Please kindly advice

Hi Seniors,
I have few queries regarding PCC.
1. When to send PCC and to whom. PCC is recommended to send with application itself. You can also submit it later when requested by VO. plz check document checklist.
2. From where we need to get the PCC? I have been living in Pune, India since last 7 yrs but my permanent address is Jaipur and from Jaipur itself my Passport is issued. So I need to get PCC from Pune (done education and doing job since last 7 yrs) or Jaipur(where I am not living but my hometown)
you have to get PCC from the Suvidha centre or Passport office for the address mentioned in your passport.

Can anyone please help

I have experience of 7.5 yrs in total and with present company it is going to be 4 years. My present org is not ready to give me any reference letter for my current job duties. So, which other documents can I present inplace of it. whether a simple affidavit would work?

need advice

Just to submit the passport to New Delhi Visa office.....Otherwise u will not have to face other issues....

For this case some NDVO earlier applicants supplied his PP by his friend/relative which is not suggested though....In this case u may inform/request ur VO to give permission to submit ur PP to the closest VO....:)

I have seen more people recommending that you send your passport via a relative with an authoritative letter rather than request for stamping to be transferred to the VO in your resident country but I may be wrong. Are there any instances of the latter actually working out for anyone ?

@FU- Canada

Hi guys! :)

I will be applying with NOC 0112 in the end of July. Do you think I stand a chance or the caps will be reached before that? I'm waiting for my IELTS exam and WES, so I can't send the application earlier...

1. If your supervisor/HR don't want to give you experience letter, try to get it someone senior to you within your department;
2. If point 1 fails, try to get it someone from your colleagues of your department; ensure giving full contact details along with the visiting card.
3. If point 2 fails, try to get it someone/two from you colleagues of your company;ensure giving full contact details along with the visiting card.
4. If point 3 fails, then go for self attested/notarized affidavit;
NB: The lower option you choose, the weaker the documentation.

For all of the above cases, explain in cover letter, why you are not able to get the experience letter from your supervisor/HR. Also ensure providing appointment letter, promotion letter, increment letter, and pay slips.

I would be in same boat , if i decides to go abroad before the finalisation of my Canada case, and according to me , in this case we can come back to India and stay here for few weeks , stamping won't take long time (2-3 weeks) , as per my knowledge.

Hi migratecanada2012 - the problem is the duration it would take. 2 weeks is the borderline for me. 3 weeks - virtually impossible unless I am willing to quit my job :D.

I think Nishesh, This is better to inform LVO about this , so that they can allow us stamping from the country where we currently living rather than sending passport by relative or courier to India , what if during that period because of some emergency conditions , we have to move from that country ....?

but as far as i know , you can request VO to ask back for your passport during stamping process , this will just delay the case ...i think Canada should come back with some other arrangement like e- visa issued by few countries ...which is suffice for initial landing .....

I understand what you're trying to say in regards to dealing with unforeseen requirements during that period but we will have to weigh probabilities here. I think I came across this post where the NDVO didn't comeback with a response for 10 days regarding the transfer of the stamping procedure to one's resident country. So there is that as well :-[
