really tensed due to credit card as today only came to know that not only my international limit was low but also my card was blocked , is it possible to get info about usage/transaction of blocked cc from bank, coz i want to assure that weather my card was used by cic during last week or still dere is hope as i am 7th may applicant and my card is blocked till ...................experts and seniors plzzz help..

I can't just wait to receive an email that my CC has been charged. Congrats to all that have had their CC and DD charged.

Well miss, you need not get offended Now as per your questions, once your CC is charged, within 2 weeks (averaged, may vary a couple of days) you might get a PER via e-mail (if you have mentioned your mail id) or via regular post at your address. This will contain your UCI number and file number and other stuff. After that your file is trasferred to the local Visa Office you mentioned in the app and you may(all VO don't intimate that) get an AOR, which means they have received your file. Then your local Vo will contact you accordingly.

The reason everyone is asking your UCI number is because it remains the same for an applicant. Even in future if you apply for any visa the UCI number would be same. So when the CIC sends your a PER update, they have already updated the system with your status. Just to see the status before receiving the actual PER (to take advantage of the delay between status updation and sending of PER) you can use the UCI number on the E-CAS portal.

WORK EXPERIENCE & VERIFICATION
Hi..i have work experience of 23 months in one company and 2 months in another company. I have reference letter form both the companies and satisfies all the criteria of CIC .

My question is - The company i worked in 2 months..i dont have any record in their database as i left the company without any notice as i got a better job and needed to join the company as soon as possible. However, i was able to get the reference letter as i have good relation with my manager.

Will CIC do verification in that company as i dont have any record in their database except the reference letter?
If i wait for another month to get 2 years of work ex then 2173 NOC will be filled.

NOTE - i require 24 months of work ex to get 67 points.

Please reply..as i am very nervous and tensed.

my application reached on 5 th may, noc 2242, SG-VO... From Dhaka.. But did not get PER email.,also not sure my DD is charged (from scb) or not!!?? I hve seen in the spreadsheet that maximum PER mail for NDVO!!?? any idea how many months in sud take to get a mail for BD applicants? Or if my application is returned, then by when I sud get the package back??

I sent my application last year May 20, 2013. It was returned due to obsolete Schedule 3. I received the documents 1st week of Jan.2014

Yay!! about an hour ago got sms that CC has been charged!! Everyone 1274 on 7 may 1:57 PM and everyone before can expect the desired sms!
