I am not able to get reference letter from my current company. Also I am not able to tell them that I am applying for FSW, because If i do so my current job will be in threat. I am confused what to do in this case. I read in some posts that affidavits are not acceptable. Can any one please help me who received PER and have submitted affidavit for current job responsibilities?
Do self declared affidavits are acceptable?
Also is declaration form my colleague not supervisor is acceptable on plain paper along with my affidavit?

Please help....

Brother,

No one you confirm fully...

Just check below post of one successful FSW13 member:

"Reference letters in the required format are necessary, please try your best to get them. If after all efforts you are unable to obtain a work reference letter, then you should provide a solemn declaration / affidavit explaining in detail why are you unable to do so. The officers at the VO are aware of the fact that different employers have different policies towards issuing such adhoc letters and may not cooperate in issuing such a letter. Please do attach all your employment records with the declaration. I was unable to obtain a work reference letter from one of my employers and did the same. However please bear in mind that the final decision rests with the visa officer handling your case."

Thanks for that information.
I am still having one question shall I go for reissue of my passport and rectify that error.
Only scary thing is that Ill be issued new passport number than ..will that be linked to older one my any means.

They will not issue new passport but will add the information saying something like this

"Please read xxx as yyy this in the column birth place".
This is because my brother had a spelling mistake in his name in this passport .
They did this for him.

Are you from india?
Have you check the website of passport office for change of place of birth.
It is not easy to get the place of birth chenged.

any senior can advice that whether you should go for this or not.

Ashif ,How long stay in some country requires PCC to submit ...if i go for 5 days ...still it needs me to submit PCC for that ?

Nope brother u will not require....

CIC tells:

"These documents are to be provided for each country other than Canada, in which you have lived for six consecutive months or longer since reaching the age of 18."

Go anywhere you like but you got to inform CIC/Visa Office.

Notices
If you do not tell CIC or the visa office of your change of address, important documents could be delayed or lost. This could cause your application to be refused.

Pls go through the link to deal with change of address: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/change-address.asp

Thanks for your reply Century...if i choose to do so ....it won't be problem for me to come back for medicals or passport requests to my home country and stay here again till stamping (if every thing runs smooth then )

Dear friends...

Its very important for me to have your suggestion at this point of time...

I was about to move out of my home country and meanwhile i got CIC positive result , now in dilemma , what to do ...whether to stay in my home country till the Canada case finishes or should i move...

Any suggestion by Seniors would be highly appreciable .....

Dear Immigrant,
when you say "move" do you mean to say move permanently to another country such as Australia or so??
If that is the case then clearly choice is yours where you wanna settle down.

But if this is short visit then you can go ahead and your application process will continue in your local visa office and will be informed accordingly.

Dear Ashif Bhai,

I am applying as an Electrical & Electronics Engineer in a FSWP program. I have below queries.

1- I have degree in Electronic Engineering but my 7 years experience is as Electrical Engineer and my job responsibilities includes both electrical and electronics. (is that fine)

2- I am sending my application package on 5th of July. My wife ielts is on 10th of july (for adaptibility points) and result will come around 24th of july. So, can i send my wife's ielts result later to CIO.

Thanks,
Jassim

+1 for ur help brother....:D

In addition of this...he will require 20 post atleast for this modification....

While sending the package, I have written "NOC Category 1" would that cause any issue :-X

ashif_eee said:
Agreed.

So summery is,

Category 1 is equivalent to NOC category

Category 2 is equivalent to Arranged Employment Category

Category 3 is equivalent to (PhD Category)

So u dont need to show it as "NOC Category 1"

Thanks buddy.

To show another point...

+1!
