Can someone please advice with this dilemma?

My application for FSW was received on May 14th. I indicated as method of payment a valid credit card. In the meanwhile, unfortunately the credit card got lost, and I currently have a replacement, same number, but different security code, and different expiration date.

The credit card company said that when I activated this card the old one went automatically invalid.

So, I do need to inform CIC in the fastest way possible about the new credit card information.
What would be the best way to do it - send a letter with the updated payment sheet? Any other suggestions?

Does any one know what happens if the payment does not go through? Will they try to contact the sender or is the application automatically disqualified?
Thanks!

Dont think how helpful a second document is,, cant you explain to CC company that you have a very imp transaction on ur old card and allow that transaction to complete. If call center of cc company is not helpful, there will always be escalation processes to put ur point. Try that

YES, the corrected IELTS result would have been exactly identical except for the gender only. The picture clearly shows my face and besides the id number on the result is same as my passport number.

Since I now have the corrected copy sent by the test center, don't you think the online information might defer slightly as regards to the gender -which will in my favor?

Yes, definitely. They will understand it is an error on part of IELTS authority. Just relax. Your file will not be rejected for this reason. IELTS result sheet has enough information along with your picture that will surely proof it is your. Don't dwell in anxiety.

besides, they might not even notice the gender in the report. So, no need to loose your sleep over this.

Dear seniors,

Please help!!

1 I have worked with four companies in past 10 years. Do I have to get reference letter of all these companies?
My current company is not ready to give me reference letter, what can I do? Is there any alternative?
2 Also I do have experience letter with designation but not detailed roles and responsibilities, will it work like this?
3 When do we need to show proof of fund? Is it ok if I send my application without POF?

Thank you

You can check the spreadsheet for 2014, and enter your information there as well. There are some that have already received PER. I am 2281 too, but my application is still in transit.

Yes, according to the checklist and guidelines.

My current company is not ready to give me reference letter, what can I do? Is there any alternative?

What needs to be done depends on whether you will need this experience to qualify.

2 Also I do have experience letter with designation but not detailed roles and responsibilities, will it work like this?

No. The reference letter must include the roles and responsibilities. If not, you will have to attach a separate sheet that has to be attested by the person writing and signing the letter.

3 When do we need to show proof of fund? Is it ok if I send my application without POF?
It is NOT Ok to do this. You MUST send POF with the initial application. If not your application will be rejected and returned.

Thank you

As far as we know they're still processing May 7th applicants. ..so you need to wait a bit...maybe 30-40 days before

Hello.. I am a member of this forum...
My application for FSW 2014 reached on May 5 (2171).
This forum made me realize an error in the application - I applied from US, and chose NY as the visa office.
Any advise for me on getting this corrected?

Note: I paid using DD, so dont know if they encashed the fees.

Hello,

I checked the status of my application in On-Line Service site of CIC using my old UCI number and here's what I found out.
"We received your application for permanent residence on May 5, 2014." I have not received a PER yet.

My PR application status is "IN PROCESS" it says there.

Anyone here on the same boat?

Yes there was another thread member whose ECAS has updated with the same....

Ur good news is around the corner....U will get ur PER (hopefully) very soon...:)

Good luck...

[size=10pt][size=10pt]hi
nice knowledge but I would like to increase the information regarding the immigration process is
1.Either ur application accept or reject or return Cic will charge the Fee
2.Educational Document verification is already done by the person thro ECA (so one of the step of document verification is skipped)
3.dont create panic for all others Cic will completely assess ur documents and eligibility criteria and the they will answer u thro email or post
previously cic took 3 month for AOR so stay Relax and pray for everyone
