Hi Ashif_eee,

My application was received on 5 May 1:18 pm. NOC 2174. My CC got charged on 29 May.

But, I have not received the PER as yet. I can see couple of people whose file was received on 5 May and CC charge on 29 May, they got the PER.

I have 10 years of experience (1.5 + 1.5 + 6 + 1). I sent the reference letters for all my companies. All of them are on the company letterhead and it has my duties and responsibilities, duration, designation, full-time (40 hours per week). But, my 1st company (1.5 years) and 3rd company (6 years) reference letter does not have my salary information. I have the appointment letters (having the salary info) for all my companies but I forgot to send them along.

Is this the reason of my PER getting delayed? Because, my reference letters does not have the salary information. So, my reference letter will be regarded as incomplete? Will my application get rejected? Can I do something now? Can I email CIC and send the scanned copy of my appointment letters, experience letters and relieving letters? I have everything with me.

My education + ielts + age = 56 points. If they just consider the experience for my 2nd company (1.5 years) and 4th company (1 year) because the reference letter has salary info, I fall in the bracket of 2-3 years work experience. So, I get 11 points for Experience. In that case, I get 56+11=67 points. So, I get through.

Also, for all the reference letters, my roles and responsibilities match for NOC 2174. But for the 2nd company, I mentioned 2173 instead of 2174 in the Schedule 3 - Economic Classes form. This was because, my designation in that company was Software Engineer. Is this a problem? Will CIC still count the experience for this?

What should I do? I am so tensed. The thought of my application get rejected is killing me. Please help me out.

Thanks.

Dear brother,

I can understand ur situation...

But I can assure 100% that lacking of the payslip is not delaying ur PER...

So just stay relax....

payslip is an optional paper...Moreover--positive thing is that ur appointment letter is containing ur salary info...

And also if u dont need to calcutlate that experiences , then why worry...???

Just chill and make urself a bit more patient.... 8) 8) 8)

U are good enough with ur docs...:D

@ Applicants, who are trying to get second IELTS TRF from IDP India...

I wanted to update on getting TRF from IDP India, after 3 weeks of dill-dallying IDP India has finally issued me second TRF...

It took me 5 phone calls, and about 10 emails. If your case is genuine and you can provide the proof of application to CIC, they will surely issue the second TRF.

So be persistent in your follow up if they are giving you negative replies....

+1 Chemical3881 for ur optimistic approach ..:D

Please read and advise on my dilemma:

I have 5 years of work experience under Mech Engg Category; I have worked in the capacity "Energy Conservation Engineer" and "Mechanical Systems Commissioning Engineer". These positions were concurrent for the 5 years.

My work experience letter states that I worked in two positions (Energy Cons Engg and Mechanical Systems Comm Engg) for 5 years full time, but doesn't specify % of time allocated to each position. On positive side I know that both positions come under Mech Engg trade - NOC 2132.

Could this be an issue? My application reached CIC on May 28th. I have obtained new work experience letter from my employer stating time spent on each occupation (breakdown of 5 years). Should I send updated work experience letter to CIC? Will it hurt?

I have UCI number to quote along with the new work experience letter.

Dear Friends,

Which one is correct ?

Citizenship and Immigration Canada
Federal Skilled Worker
NOC Category
Primary NOC 2011 Code: XXXX
49 Dorchester Street
Sydney, NS
B1P 5Z2
Canada

or

Citizenship and Immigration Canada
Federal Skilled Worker
NOC Category 1
Primary NOC 2011 Code: XXXX
49 Dorchester Street
Sydney, NS
B1P 5Z2
Canada

I am confused with NOC Category. We need to mention just NOC Category or NOC Category 1

Thanks Ashif_eee. But you missed two points.

I forgot to send the appointment letters. I did not send them. However, I do have everything with me containing the salary information.

Secondly, for all the reference letters, my roles and responsibilities match for NOC 2174. But for the 2nd company, I mentioned 2173 instead of 2174 in the Schedule 3 - Economic Classes form. This was because, my designation in that company was Software Engineer. Is this a problem? Will CIC still count the experience for this?

Please comment. Also, when can I expect my PER?

That is the correct one.I have seen many people make the mistake of choosing the first address but because they don't get penalised or their application doesn't get rejected on the basis of that mistake others have taken it to be the correct one.

There are three (3) categories:

1. NOC category 1 - is for those who have this work experience in one of the 50 eligible occupations (The category in which most of the people on this thread belong)

2.Category 2 - You have a valid offer of arranged employment

3.Category 3 - You are an international student who is enrolled in a PhD program in Canada (or who graduated from a Canadian PhD program within the past 12 months) and meet these criteria.

hey guys

do they look into the qualification and experience relevancy...or will simply 1 year of exp do (be at any degree )???
