Dear ashift, thanks for responding. But your statement "thats what will remain after PER" causes me more confusion . So it is still not 100% of chances of receiving PER even though my app status is showing that message ? Is there any case in which cic 'forgot' to send PER ? Or perhaps there email tool was having problem so that they did not send email but still process the app normally ? Sorry about my silly questions.

I am applying for 0113 which may not get filled before overall cap is reached.. accordingly, i am trying to understand that when overall cap will be reached..

may be after the hot NOCs are filled up, the number of daily applications will decrease further.. so that means, if the hot NOCs are filled up with overall application of 15k or 18k, the further progress would be slower after that.. this is just my opinion and i seek others' opinion on this..

My app reached on 26 may. I have included a SSC leaving certificate a instead of a BC. This leaving certificate has my name and dat of birth, but does not have my parents name.
Really worried if it will suffice
Any advices?
Any body in the forum who got his PER with such document?

Hi Guys,

Just learnt from my consultant that my application was returned back due to my credit card didnt charged. As per cic they tried 3 times I think i am out of the race now...Also for those 1st, 2nd and 5th may applicants whose cc not charged..check with your bank...

All the best to all... will try again...with my wife cc and let see if I can make it to the cap.

Credit card users need to make sure that thier credit card limit is sufficient.
Thier will be a international usage limit which is different & less from our normal CC limit.
Contact bank and check ur cc international usage limit and increase if required.
It is the most common reason for CC charge rejections.
Hope this helps all CC users..

If you have UCI, then send the affidavit separately - if you are lucky, it could be accepted.

Better, send a new application for your peace of mind.

Some people find this discussion controversial because "No body knows when cap will be filled".. thats true..
but there is nothing wrong in making an estimation based on the available data..

again from our spread sheet, we can observe below number of applications received at CIO - per week (Monday to Friday)..

05-May to 09-May : 323 applications
12-May to 17-May : 180 applications
19-May to 23-May : 098 applications
26-May to 30-May : 076 applications
02-Jun to 06-Jun : 088 applications
09-Jun to 13-Jun : 068 applications (Many people may be yet to update data in spreadsheet)

can we still believe that on an average, max 80-100 applications will be made per week by our forum members in future weeks..??
If our forum represents 10% of total applicants, the total number of weekly application will be approx 800-1000..

what would experts like to comment on this..?

Got mail from WES that my application is in evaluation and expected date of completion is 14th July 2014.

ECA report: WES received docs on 5-Jun
Evaluation in progress on 14-Jun
Expected completion - 14-Jul

Following are my queries :-
Q1 - Can i submit my application without WES as it will be directly sent by WES to CIC ???
Q2 - How early can i expect my documents to reach me, keeping in mind WES expected completion date 14th July ???

You should not send application without original WES report.. as mentioned on all the official documents..

However, looking at the recent improvement in delivery of ECA report of some of our colleagues, you may receive the ECA far before the promised date.

Hope they are sealed in the university envelope as well. Then you can send mentioning the reference number.

Dear Amr brother,

Since the package has already delivered.... I guess u have nothing to do except to send a new Form with a cover letter which has already suggested by Oscar and other members...

In the cover letter-make ur apology and also include the below information:

Name+PP Number+ DOB + APP rcvd date.


Similar case has been done on earlier times (FSW13). I cant remember the person right now. Few Visa officers are known a bit about this ques/problem (its a bit confusing ques to the applicants, in an avg). So its totally up to Case officer, what he will do about ur issue...

Now pray and hope for the best...I also wish and hope- that u will be saved...

Thank you ashif_eee...I really wish it gets acknowledged with the amended form or the case officer be on my side which is unlikely out of the experiences I have seen here...

It is really disheartening to see application getting rejected due to such silly mistake...
