Get the affidavit from translator and notarize it along with translated copy.. also no need to send original BC, just send an attested copy of it.

I have a question,as our birth certificates ( for me & my spouse) are written by my native language, I translated it into English by a translation office ( not governmental) and I attached both ( original translated copy stapled with original birth certificate ). that will be acceptable by CIO?

FSWP 2013 => Program started - 04 May, 2013, My App submitted - 26 June, 2013, Missed the caps by a big margin. Disappointed like hell.
FSWP 2014 => This time i am ready. Be smart but not over-smart. Wait till 01 May, maybe the forms get changed for 2014. Also, change the NOC from 2174 to 2173. Most would apply with the same old forms and NOC. But NOC 2173 is new. Quota would be open for late.
01 May, 2014 - Program started
01 May, 2014 - App completed. But could not post (Sunday!)
02 May, 2014 - Prepared to post the app. But instant plan made for a 1000 km bike trip to Ooty at 5 am in morning. Courierd app from Mysore (takes 5 days, app goes to Bangalore first) on way, instead of Bangalore
02 May, 2014 - App posted to CIC.
07 May, 2014, 01:57 p.m. - App delivered to CIC, received by Mike.
20 May, 2014 - The black news comes. The bank(ICICI) replaced all the Credit cards due to some RBI guidelines. The card whose information was given on form will now be cancelled by 20 June, 2014 (30 days). Card Cancelled = Payment rejected = another year wasted (more importantly the last FSWP).
13 June, 2014 - CC Charged, NOC - 2173 at 07:50 a.m. Canada ESDT.

I joined this forum last year just with an intention to ask a couple of doubts. I know most of the stuff and hence I do not visit this forum often. But all this time, it has been overwhelming to see the support. :)

I still have a question though. Do they evaluate at an upper level before charging the money or it is done after the processing only ?

Hi,

Is there any recent change in the photo specification?

Can anybody please share the recent photo requirements for canada FSW application?

Though i am far away from that stage, can you pls inform the subject of PER e-mail..?

It may. I recommend you add Centralized-Intake-Office @ cic.gc.ca to your address book/ contacts list to avoid it going to spam. Good luck!!

Looks like got a wrong specification document before. The latest photo specification shared here is the one I have too. Thanks for clarifying.

Question about Work Experience

Although it is getting harder to get responses for trivial questions in the midst of elevated fervor about CC/DD charge, but let me try still.

Is an experience certificate that I received from my employer when I left a previous job enough (provided it mentions the duties), or a fresh one (in current dates) is needed ?

I am facing same problem. Sent my application by DHL on 10th Jun. It is showing "Departed Facility in ONTARIO SERVICE AREA - CANADA". May be DHL process become slow after that stage. I even called and got the same response to wait till Monday.

Same here !!!! What's wrong with DHL? Sent application June 9th and up to now it says FORWARDED for delivery. , location Ontario Canada June 11. They said to wait until today for update .
