Hello Friends,

I received PER email today and the same has been updated in the spreadsheet.

I have following new information which needs to be updated in my file at CIO, Any suggestions?

1. My current address has changed since the time I filed for the immigration application though my permanent address is still the same.
I have recently moved to USA from India temporarily (right now for 6 months but can go beyond that) and how to request for change of my VISA office?

2. Also the passport of my son has changed (because it was due to expire) since the time I filed the application.

Thanks,

When can I expect my fees to be charged. My application got received on 6/8

Cc charged yesterday
Noc 2174 app reached 7 may 10:19 am
Time of cc charge 8:30pm India time

Many many congratulations..

Question about the Birth Certificate

1. The FSW Guide doesn't talk much about the birth certificate, so if you have a CIC weblink(s) talking about it in detail, please let me know.

2. From what I have read on this forum, Xth certificate bearing DoB and father's name shall suffice, is it ? Simple copy, or notarized ?

3. For a Xth certificate in some other language, what all needs to be done ? Translation ? From whom ? Notarized ? Affidavit ?

4. Does the above cover everything about BC, or there is more that needs to be done ?

Thanks.

This should be sufficient.. Get it notarized and also submit a copy. For people who dont have a xth certificate or birth certificate, they can even just submit a Affidavit...

Thanks for replying. I get from your reply that a Xth certificate is sufficient. I need to make a copy, notarize it and that's it.

About the other (spouse's) Xth certificate in another language, what is the exact procedure ? Get it translated (by whom ?) and notarize the translation ?

I provided reference letter from only one company . Have worked longest here. For all other companies I had service certificates offer letters etc but no reference letters.
If they don't count that experience even then points should be more than 67.

Though am not sure if it will b accepted and I will get a per mail. Will let everyone know when I get per mail. If I don't get then all of us will know that the above method is not acceptable

Congratulations to All those who have their CC/DD Charged!!

It would be great if you guys could help others in the forum by letting us know if you submitted the reference letters on the Company letter head or a self affidavit or an affidavit from the immediate supervisor

Thanks

As far as I know and got feedback... Affidavits are not going to work for work experience. Work experience + WES + IELTS are the three most important things in the new FSWP.. So it's not wise to go against the CIC instructions.

Submit below 3 documents in case of any translation..

1. Attested copy of original document
2. Translation copy - notarized
3. Affidavit of the translator - notarized

The RPRF will be refunded if the application is refused, if you withdraw your application or if you choose not to use your visa. Please follow these steps:
· Go to the website
· Read the instructions on each page, and click “Continue” to proceed
· Select the “Immigration” link, followed by “Right of Permanent Residence Fee”
· You must pay this fee once for yourself as principal applicant and your spouse
· Enter the number of fee payments (1 or 2) in the box beside the fee of $490
· Click “Submit”
· Proceed to pay your fees by selecting “Pay” and then follow the instructions to pay with a credit card
Once the payment process is complete, the web site will display your official receipt in PDF format. You must send the receipt to CPC-O.

Question about Work Experience

Although it is getting harder to get responses for trivial questions in the midst of elevated fervor about CC/DD charge, but let me try still.

Is an experience certificate that I received from my employer when I left a previous job enough (provided it mentions the duties), or a fresh one (in current dates) is needed ?

It will be enough provided that it contains detail job description to match with NOC's job description.
