I sent my application through DHL on 6th June. From 10th June the status is Forwarded for delivery. I called DHL and it says beyond that we do not have any tracking as it has been handed over to third party ? Anybody had a same experience ?
Second i can see other fellows are writing their package has been received and then a by a person name ? How did they get it , Is it through Courier tracking or got any confirmation mail

Hi Nikoniko.

Even I thought the same but since few days it was NOC based.
My application was of 7th may recieved at 9.45 am.
So I would hav been charged first for 7th may but it didnt happen.
Noc 2174, 2173, 1112 which r hot Nocs of 7th may got charged 2 days ago which were recieved at around 12 pm or 1pm.
So today they started to review 4011 NOCs.
Still Nothing can be commented on CIC process.

We just have to wait patiently as I did for almost 2-3 years..& finally got the result just now.

I need your opinion on a certain matter please. When I was flipping through the copies of the application forms and documents that I sent to CIO, I discovered that I had a typo on my mother-in-law's date of birth. In the Schedule 3 - I typed it as May 3, while in the additional family background form - it was May 13, which is the correct one. Do you think this will delay or affect my application? If you had an experience like this I would appreciate your thoughts. Thanks!

where did you specify dob of your mother in law on schedule 3 form ?? are you sure u filled in schedule 3 economic classes form ?

Sorry, The forms were Schedule A - Background Declaration and Additional Family Information.

I have a question,as our birth certificates ( for me & my spouse) are written by my native language, I translated it into English by a translation office ( not governmental) and I attached both ( original translated copy stapled with original birth certificate ). that will be acceptable by CIO?

Hi,
I can't tell u exactly what's CIC position on that, but if u are in Egypt, u can translate Birth Certificates at Ministry of Health (Lazoughly St, Downtown Cairo). It shall take 3-4 days max & it is definitely approved by CIC. (u can get any number of original translated copies - I made 3 of them).

Generally, it's always recommended to get "governmental" translation for any docs if available.

In Form : Schedule 3, Question 12 where we have to list our entire work history, Will I also have to put the roles that I am not claiming points for?

In the guide it clearly states - Note: List only occupations that fall in Skill Type 0, Skill Levels A or B of NOC 2011.

Now I would I like to know, which of my below roles actually fall in these aforementioned Skill Types,

Business Analyst (NOC 2171) --> This is the one I am claiming points for.

Don't think these below ones fall in any NOC and I don't intend to claim points for this anyway so can I ignore putting details about this in this form?

Of course a consultant won't feel the same pain as the applicant once the application is returned due to cap fill, so their emotion is not attached at all to the process. They are merely there to do business and to get more clients for their existing business. I agree only a handful consultants would have ethics that they can boast of. But that should not come as a surprise! Did 'anyone' expect more out of this one time temporary relationship? I sure don't!

2. After successful entry into the form, you will be redirected to a page. Please click on the "Edit your response"

3. Now you will redirected to another page, where you will find all your current entry in a from. For change or add entry in future either bookmark the page or copy and save the address from the address bar.

My CC was charged yesterday for 2174... My app reached on 7th May before 11.00 AM.

Few advices from my past experience, a small mistake will cost you dearly.

1. Be careful about the birth certificates, if you dont have a birth certiciate make sure you give a affidavit/Matriculation certificate with atleast one parent's name or School outgoing certificate with one parents name

2. Make sure you submit your work experience certificates from your company on your company letter head... Affidavits usually will not work, try from your company, for the work you have done, and remember affidividits will mostly be rejected.

3. Make sure you sign everything,, and get your app reviewed by a second person... A small mistake in typing a name will cost you .

4. Dont believe if some one says the quota for 2174 will be completed, send out your application even now... Last year lot of people did not send application thinking quota will be over by 10th may but it lasted till last week of May.
