@RBT

Preferably, reprint but un-stapling them should not be a problem, if u do so carefully.

I have seen many a times experts are suggesting not to staple rather clip the docs. I have already stapled my file, anyone with a reference for this? Should I un-staple and clip or should I reprint all docs again?

1. Signed page then another bar coded page, and then the other pages starting from page 1.
2. Use some clips to bind other documents. Don't use any clips to bind forms. Try to use envelopes for putting photos.
3. Yes, you can write after printing. Use BLACK ink.

Do also last moment check: Most Frequent Errors
Ensure counting all the pages of form.
Ensure writing your full name at the last page of generic form.
Ensure selecting correct visa office
Ensure writing names in native languages
Ensure writing name, DoB, photo taken date at the back of photos
Ensure including self-addressed labels
Ensure while filling form IMM5406 by your spouse, s/he is applicant
Ensure Assets = Your property + settlement fund
Ensure providing original ECA, IELTS, and PCC
Ensure birth certificate contains your name, father's name, and your DoB

And you can rate me after you complete 25 posts.

Best of luck.

Hi century, I am applying using my wife as primary. Settlement fund I have shown is basically balances of my bank account. I have left the asset box and liability box empty. Is it okay?

For the benefit of the may5 received applicants and succeeding days the cic is slowly moving now.
I received PER 9:08 am ns canada time june 13, 2014. 8:08pm philippine time.

My app was received 5 may 1:18 pm. Noc 1111

My dd was encashed may 29. That makes timeline 24 days from receipt.
PER receipt is 15 days from encashment. Timeline includes weekends.

Good luck everyone.
Additional info:
I stapled forms per form title and some docs but not everything and did not staple to bind it all together.
I used long envelope.
I didnt include bar codes bec it didnt appear after validation. Validated? Yes, it is indicated in the form validated.

Many thanks mate. Could not find any reference on the guide. Any idea why staple is not ok? There are so many pages, I thought the order can be truly ensured only if one complete form is stapled.

No, it is not correct.

Your Assets = Settlement Fund + Car+Jewelry+Furniture+House

At minimum, Assets = Settlement fund
Liability = it could be nil; no issue on this.

too bad canada didn't qualify

It's good for us that Canada didn't qualify. They are less likely to be watching the games.

Canada hasn't qualified for the World Cup since 1986. Their games are hockey, curling and lacrosse.

Hi
Can anyone guide me which all forms have to be filled to be sent with the application package. If there are multiple versions for different years then which one is to be used. I am a single applicant.

Feel free to send me a pm.

Also wanted to ask that my IELTS score is valid till first week Dec 2014. Will that be ok ?

Thanks

Dear All:

Can someone on this forum highlight the detail of making a phone call to the CIC from outside Canada to inquire about the application submitted.

Thank you all in advance

totally agree.

adding to this is the fact that a few applications received on 1st to 5th May (across all NOC)are still pending with no news atall while apps received on 6th May are getting processed.
This is contradictory to our general understanding that all apps would be processed in the order they are received(atleast NOC wise)

Actually, you are missing many key facts, some of which are

1. This info was released on 6th June (It reflect tiny fraction of overall cap, but what about individual NOC, 2-3 NOC are around 4% full, you may still consider it a tiny fraction, but most of the new CC charges are related to these NOCs so exponential increase is expected in next update).

2. No one knows, the cut off date. (worst scenario, it only includes some of the 1st May apps, whereby 1st May applicant with complete app but pending DD encashment might be excluded. Such DD payments will certainly be transferred to CIC)

3. No one knows the criteria for including an app in the count (PER or CC/DD encashment; if it includes PER, which is issued after at least 7 days of CC/DD encashment, many of the complete/accepted application are not included in the count but most certainly they will count towards overall cap and result in exponential rise in the count)

4. [MOST IMPORTANT] Yes, most of the applicants are not sure if their application is "complete", don't forget many applicant's are missing one thing or other and have covered it through acceptable alternate/affidavits. Now, if that is accepted by the reviewer, no one knows.
