Hi,
I am submitting my immigration application for 1112, please advice for the below queries.

1) My previous employer's (HDFC Bank & Kotak bank) have provided me with experience certificate confirming my tenor of working and designation. I had contacted them to provide me with reference letter confirming my job description and etc as required by CIC, to which they have confirmed that they dont have practice of sharing such letter. Please advice.
2) I have a my cousin residing in CANADA(my parental aunts daughter), can i refer her as my relative in the CIC application form to gain 5 points under adaptability
3) Proofs of funds: Please confirm if i should submit poof of funds(settlement funds) along with the application. Is it sufficient to submit at later stage.
4) Understand that if i have a commonlaw partner, i have to complete and include the statutory declaration of common law union IMM5409 and provide evidence that we have cohabitated for a period of at least 12 continuous monts. Please confirm if the same applies to wife(married)

1. Experience letter
i. If your supervisor/HR don't want to give you experience letter, try to get it someone senior to you within your department;
ii. If point 1 fails, try to get it someone from your colleagues of your department; ensure giving full contact details along with the visiting card.
iii. If point 2 fails, try to get it someone/two from you colleagues of your company;ensure giving full contact details along with the visiting card.
iv. If point 3 fails, then go for self attested/notarized affidavit;

For all of the above cases, explain in cover letter, why you are not able to get the experience letter from your supervisor/HR. Also ensure providing appointment letter, promotion letter, increment letter, and pay slips. The lower option you reach, the higher the risk for non-acceptability.

2. Yes, you can. Pls go through the point 14 of document checklist for detail requirement for getting 5 marks.

3. Proof of funds: Applicants are required to show proof of settlement funds in their possession which can or will be used in their transition to Canada. CIC requires this proof at both the time of application and at the time of landing in Canada. CIC requires proof of settlement funds in the form of one or a combination of the following:

• Bank Certification Letter

• Savings Balance

• Fixed or Time Deposit Statements

4. No extra form is required for wife like common law union.

Should I have to put Software Engineer or Software Engineers and Designers in Occupation field of Background Declaration form?

In Generic form, Intended occupation and Economic form Q. 12a Should be same or not?

It is not necessary to quote UCI numbder.
Same was the case with me. Last year, I filled my app thru a consultancy. My app was returned due to cap full and never knew my UCI.

Now, that I got my CC charged, means that it has no issues.
So relax!

Yes, is due to cap filled but the consultant has all the details and had tuf time to get it from the consultant.

The consultant refused to give me the returned application form.

After receiving PER you will receive an email as AOR from local VO... then the game is wait and watch till your Medical Request receives.. After that you will receive PP request with PR fees.. and then after few days you will receive a maple leaf visa in your hand..

in 2013 some of the cases in NDVO claimed that they received Med request and PP request on the same day.. Hope I cleared your question..

How strong are the chances of getting PR from now ? Also how long would this process take ??

How many days they took after the status was turned to "Evaluation in Progress"..?

my application reached them on the 2nd of June. They took 5 days to change it to Evaluation in Progress and further 4 days to change it to report being prepared for delivery.

Looks like they have improved on the timings.

AOR is Acknowledgement of Receipt which you will receive from Local Visa Office that is for you.. NDVO...

There is no guarantee of your PR visa till the time you receive PP request. Average processing trend for NDVO is 9 months to 1.2 years..

I also have 1yr 4 months experience in NOC 6235 under skill category B.

Can I combine both for calculating my experience points or will i only be awarded points for the primary NOC experience i.e Noc 1123??

Kindly help.
