Once a CC gets charged (or DD gets encashed), what are the chances that the person doesn't get PR ?

1 in a 100 ?

Wow that's like asking how long is a piece of string...it really depends. ..but I guess if you are eligible and meet the criteria and continue meeting all the criteria throughout the long process till the visa is issued...plus admissibility requirements are OK like medicals and PCC. ..if all of that is OK then eventually and after waiting and waiting you will get PR....

Hi, all

FYI,

My CC is encashed on 6.11 (Canada Time).

NOC: 2173
Reveived Date: 5.7, 10:19AM

Best wishes for all of us.

Congrates :)

BTW I've seen one interesting stats for CAP update. I think they have only updated for May 1st 2014.
Reason being, For NOC 3012, we have 2 PER one is for 1st May,one is for 2nd May.
CIC shows only 1 completed app under NOC 3012.
So, I guess they have only updated for 1 May applications!

Hello!!

I am working as an Instrumentation & Control Engineer & have 5years Hands-on work experience in the field of Electrical and Industrial Instrumention. My education background is Computer Engineering, I have the ECA report & IELTS 7.0 Band score. Am i elligible to apply for FSW Program under NOC job code:2133 Electrical & Electronics Engineer?? Please advice..
If you have
1. continuous 1 year full time experience in 2133 (roles must be matched)
2. scored minimum 6 in all of the IELTS module
3. minimum secondary/post-secondary education assessed
4. scored minimum 67 points attained

Then you may be eligible. For details please go through at http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/EG7TOC.asp and give enough time to study on this.

General query, my application reached CIC on 9th june'14.. Now seeing the trend when can I expect to get CC charged.. May be 25-30 days or what?

And I keep wondering is there only 1 person who keeps reviewing all applications or equal no. Of persons for what ever NOC..

Why delay is there??

Empty mind devil's home.. ;D :D 8) :P

SENIOR MEMBERS REPLY PLZ...... :'(

I want to apply for 4011 (University Professors and Lecturers).
My qualification is Ph.D. and currently teaching in the topmost and oldest Engineering College in the region. The college is highly reputed and graded among the topmost institutions by different National agencies. Most of the universities in the region are far behind the college as per the infrastructure and faculty qualification and experience is concerned. The college is autonomous but affiliated to the university. I am performing all the duties listed under 4011. Kindly clear my following doubts which will show path to many members facing the same problem.

a) Am I eligible to apply under 4011? (Most of the reputed consultants including Abhinav and WWICS are filing the cases of my colleagues in the same situation)

b) If I am eligible, kindly reply to my doubt: In the earlier times, when 4021 was also there along with 4011 (fast track system from 2008 to 2010), some faculty members of our college got migrated under category 4021(college teacher). No one opted for 4011. I also filed my application in Dec 2013 for Saskatchewan under 4021 but unluckily it was not accepted due to cap. Does this factor have any impact on my current application if I chose NOC 4011 instead of 4021?

It will take 60 to 90 days to process your application.. as per current trends..

It will depend wholesole on your jobs roles and responsibilities.. If that matches you are okay, provided that you have mentioned all your responsibilities which you have given for Saskatchewan immigration..

I think you can apply only if your college is independent and can issue certificate such as "University College London" which does not require any university to issue certificate.

Well my application was delivered today, signed by D. Maccuray @10.28am Syndey N.S. Time, I have a duplicate entry in the spreadsheet, admins, please delete the duplicate, the other has been updated to reflect delivery, now the waiting time begins!

To be eligible, you have to meet two parts of the NOC:

1. Lead parts: University professors and lecturers teach courses to undergraduate and graduate students and conduct research at universities. University professors who are heads of departments are included in this unit group.

2. Duties part:
University professors and lecturers perform some or all of the following duties:
Teach one or more university subjects to undergraduate and graduate students
Prepare and deliver lectures to students and conduct laboratory sessions or discussion groups
Prepare, administer and grade examinations, laboratory assignments and reports
Advise students on course and academic matters and career decisions
Direct research programs of graduate students and advise on research matters
Conduct research in field of specialization and publish findings in scholarly journals or books
May serve on faculty committees dealing with such matters as curriculum planning and degree requirements, and perform a variety of administrative duties
May represent their universities as speakers and guest lecturers
May provide professional consultative services to government, industry and private individuals.

If lead part is not matched, there is always some doubt.

Note that, your SINP has no effect on this program.

Try and test your luck ;) ;)

folks one query.... Once we enter Canada with FSWP visa are we eligible to join in any university & pursue any course????? I mean can we apply for any study courses as a studentt??

FSWP gives you permanent residence, and from that point you are free to do anything you want in Canada.
