Hi Seniors,

My application reached CIO on 1st May @9:15 am and singed by MIKE, however till date neither my DD is en-cashed nor I got any mail from CIC regarding PER/Rejection. Its now nearly six weeks and planning to send an inquiry mail to CIC seeking the status of the package.

I applied under NOC 2174 and had attached 2 DD's with amount 1100 + 300 for 4 of us, does that creates problem?

I applied under the same category last year via a consultant but the package reached after the cap was full. I didn't get any details on UCI number so could not mention it on the application this time.

Please anybody advice ...

How is the CC charged? Do they need my address apart from the other information like Expiry date, card number, cvv I supplied in the payment form, I'm a bit worried because the address I registered my card is different from what I use now.

I think you're good as long as the billilng address of your credit card wasn't changed. In my case I didn't write the address since I also own the card and the form only requires an address if your using other people's card. I was charged yesterday :)

Hi,

Me and my spouse finally sent application under the category 2173. This thread have been of great help. Thanks to all the experts.

Please wait for 2 more weeks. Meanwhile if you are aware of any issue in your application which can be of major concern please let all know so that they can suggest if that can cause rejection.

You can also start arranging new documents for a fresh application and try n get job responsibilities under some other noc like 2173.

This is purely my thinking and I request seniors to correct me if I am advising strongly

Hi, all

FYI,

My CC is encashed on 6.11 (Canada Time).

NOC: 2173
Reveived Date: 5.7, 10:19AM

Best wishes for all of us.

Hey congrats. I also applied in 2173 . reached at same time as yours. My cc is not charged yet. Which carrier did you use to send. I sent via ups and my package was delivered at 10.19 am on 7th may. At what exact time did you recieve sms for cc charge?

There has been considerable slowdown in the processing times, so don't panic, you will be fine. You can write to the CIO office after 6 weeks has passed from the date of receipt of your application at the CIO office, if you don't hear back from CIO. If you have followed the fee payment instructions on the fee payment form, there will be no issues.

Thanks @K_B

Thanks @Hope1957

I have been checking all the post that relates to my application and have not found any problem, however if any spelling mistakes can lead to rejection of application is my concern.

Regarding fresh application, I have submitted the Original of the Employers Reference letters and in-case the package is returned will that contain the reference letters?

From getting PER from CIC to local VO asking for PCC/Medical certificate..generally how many days/month do they take ?

Dear,

Its totally depends on the Local Visa office...Some of the faster Visa offices like NEw Delhi/CPC-O are issuing Visa on an avg 8-9 months....

Some of the Visa offices like London/Singapore/Accra dont have any estimation....

Mine one -Singapore has not issued a single Medical within this 13 months....

Although CIC has a avg processing time which is an absurd...(some of the VO are maintaining that time!!)

I have a letter from university stating that it has changed its name from so on so.
This letter is in original, received from university, attested and signed by registrar.

But this is old letter, it was obtained in 2010.

Is it advisable to send this letter, will CIC accept if I send them a copy with "True copy" attested.
one of super expert in forum suggest, ECA report will suffice.

Please suggest.
As name of the university has changed once only you can use 2010 letter quite confidently.and CIC/WES Seek clarifications only so i believe no problem in adding this letter :) issued by registrar, coz it will clarify every details of your education and prevents unnecessary delay in the process this is what i believe

Hi All,

I have been working with the same company for my entire career but I have experience that falls under two NOC categories.

2173 : 1.2 years(initial phase of the career)
2283 : 4.7 years (this NOC code is not mentioned in 50 NOC list, but experience can be counted for the required points as it falls under O,A or B category)

I will be applying under 2173 - Do I need two separate experience letters for each NOC? or one experience letter with all experience details will be fine?

Thanks.San

Dear brother,

U can do both.....

But since ur company is same u may show two different job duties for the two designation separately on the same job reference letter.... :)
