I have been a visitor to Canada as well. I don't think UCI has got anything to do with Visit Visas.

If this is your first time application for 'Immigration' - a UCI will be provided to you at a later stage (probably after AOR).

I used to know the same,, but just saw that reply, that visitor visa also contains UCI, so wondering..... ://

@ vinisha
The CIC reviewer spilled coffee on ur ECA and his printer is out of order. The easiest solution for him, just send four worded email (send duplicate for vanisha) and here vinisha runs to fax machine and gets few hundred $ debited from CC.

I got the same question! I went to Canada long back (1998) so I have visitor visa. Where can I find my UCI?? :S

Where can I find my client ID/UCI?

This eight digit number appears on all documents you get from Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC). It looks like this: 0000-0000.

If you applied to CIC before
Look for this number on:

letters you received from CIC,
your immigration document such as a PR card, study or work permit.
If you do not have any of these documents but want to fill out an application form:

you can leave the field for UCI (Client ID) blank.
Note: If you have not dealt with CIC since 1973, you will not have a UCI or a Client ID.

The UCI is a 8 digit numeric code separated by a hyphen 0000-0000.

I am looking at my Visit Visa as we speak and I dont see any such code.

Hi,

Can I make changes in the generic form after validating and generating bar-codes ?
I want to make some corrections in the validated form. Do I need to clear the form and enter all details again ? Or if I make changes and validate again, will the bar-codes be updated accordingly ?

Thank you.

Just do the changes you want and validate again.

checked mine too, the visa page... Don't see any 8 digit numeric code separated by a hyphen 0000-0000.
So I guess we don't have any!
