Hello,
I see from the spreadsheet that some of you have selected 'New York' as the Immigration Office.

As per the below link, only people of Bermuda can select 'New York' as the Immigration Office. I hope people of the US have selected the correct Immigration Office, i.e. CPC-Ottawa.

c i c . g c . c a / e nglish/information/offices/apply-where.asp#u

U are correct...Requesting to all of u who have written wrong Visa office to correct on the spreadsheet...:)

Behave yourself future_canadian what's making you take a country name in particular.

Do not deviate some individual view to a country view.

I'm not. Most of those spams mention India and the phone number is in India. So that spammer is Indian. I am not saying anything bad about India.

If you follow this thread carefully, you will see that a good news will come by you soon. Applications which were recieved on 6th may are getting their cc charged so hopefully your cc(if applicable) will also be charged by next week. stay tuned on the thread and contribute by entering your details in form below.

By the way EOI is referred as Express entry and its a new system which will engulf FSW,FSTW,CEC and PNP . Except people who have nominations from provinces , others wont be able to get PR without a valid job offer from canadian employer so thats why this year we have huge quote of 25k to cater the demand of employment till 2016.

Nobody is absolutely sure if you will be within cap. however you should always be positive about things and should expedite to get your documents and forms in place and submit the application asap.
wish you all the best.

Hi Guys,

Fedex has delivered my application documents to CIO last week. but I do not receive any email or letter yet. what is the status should be? I saw in the spreadsheet there are lots of "C. At CIO". is this the status for my case right now?

any idea when will the CIO send me a letter or email to update any status or give me some ID? thanks.

Delivered last week, you're probably looking at another 4-8 weeks.

Hello guys.. confusion in filling the forms!
Please help how I should understand the following..
Provide the details since the age of 18 and or the past 10 years whichever is most recent
I read through the forum but still not clear. I am 33 means I key in details from when I was 23 or 18 years old. I did lot of international travel from 18 so understanding this seems very important for me.
Thank you guys

Most of those questions are the past 10 years, so start when you were 23. The age 18 thing comes into play only if you are less than 28 years old.

There are exceptions though. In the background declaration there are questions like have you ever had a serious medical condition, have you ever been refused a visa, etc. Those questions using the word EVER mean for your whole life unless otherwise stated.

Also, the PCCs are necessary from anywhere you have lived for 6 months or more since age 18 (16 in some jurisdictions), no matter how old you are.
