Nobody is absolutely sure if you will be within cap. however you should always be positive about things and should expedite to get your documents and forms in place and submit the application asap.

Yes. Look at the payment form. It tells you how you can submit two different forms of payment.

This is very tricky question and unfortunately CIC has not guideline about it. However you can pay partly by credit card and part by DD. I am not sure if they accept two payment forms but they have specified only 1 payment form per principle applicant so its an hint its not acceptable.

I'm not. Most of those spams mention India and the phone number is in India. So that spammer is Indian. I am not saying anything bad about India.

Just to clarify , you are referring to two modes of payment here ie. CC & DD. But the person in question wants to know if he can use 2 CC to pay for himself and spouse with two separate cards. I searched on cic guidelines but don't see if two CC are acceptable.

Same here. Within 3 weeks (likely sooner, but you never know) if you get a PER e-mail.

He can surely use both cc as well as dd provided each mode covers the full payment amount per applicant. But if 2 CCs are acceptable that is what I am not sure of .

That's a good point, but I don't see a reason why 2 CCs would not work, if 1 CC and 1 DD works.

As many things as can go wrong with a CC, how nervous would we be waiting for more than 1 to charge successfully?
