Hi all,
Is there any difference in payment mode of DD and CC.
I heard that DD takes 2-3 days more than CC.
So if two application received one for CC and another with DD then would CC be preferred or PER to CC guys allocated earlier?
If anyone has some knowledge on it please share.

1. Do we need to attach copy of signature page of passport?
2. I am claiming points for my brother who is a PR holder. The problem is his name on the birth certificate (issued by the hospital) is incorrect. Secondary school documents do not have fathers name. However, fathers name is mentioned on Passport, National ID card and his marriage contract. It I attach these three, will it be enough evidence for proof of relationship?
1. Yes
2. His birth Certificate is not needed..PP copies will do. Also take a copy of his tax returns that he filed there

Nope brother,

For FSW13, it has not happened....Atleast for this issue someone should not avoid DD...:)

DD is the safest option to use as payment method as CC companies sometimes rejects transaction due to number of different reasons.. ;)

You can send multiple applications.. but at a time only one wil be considered for same program..Whichever they evaluate to be complete. If you already sent the file..2-3 days don't make any difference

Hello Friends,

For some reason I cannot access the spreadsheet. Could anyone advise the status of NOC Code 2132? How many had submitted and received their AOR?

Thanks for the help.

There is no preference from CIC. Either option is okay by them, no preference what so ever.

Once DD is made one has to ensure from bank that it is valid for 6 months. CC is somewhat tricky since in certain countries the central bank imposes foreign currency restrictions on transactions so the CC issuing banks sometimes deny the transaction if it is above certain limits. Also for people who do not have sufficiently high balance / credit limits a CC can get denied at times. Many people have been successful with DD and CC, so either is fine. In some countries the advantage with CC is you get to know right away when successful transaction is made, while in DD there is certain lag in knowing the same. Just in knowing though!

Hi I understand your position perfectly with your employer who will not give you a reference letter with your roles and responsibilities stated on it for immigration purposes. For some companies, this a policy issue, they just won't do it as that will mean encouraging their talent/skilled hands to leave.
What you can do is accept the letter your company will give you and add the detailed reference letter from your supervisor on plain paper. Attach his call / business card and a simple cover note from you that your company does not give detailed reference due to policy. Don't worry at all, CIC knows this from years of experience and won't hold it against you. Your local VO can verify your employment later if they want to approve your application. All the best.

Thank you very much.

Both CC and DD are legitimate forms of payment. There is no preference over each other, at least from CIC office side

However you may consider the below

payment by CC benefits:

1. You will get notification once CC charged.

Payment by DD benefits:

1. Most secure form of payment. No chance for transaction to be declined.

Thanks
