Hello guys,

i have got a doubt regarding Birth certificate. mine is a regional language (telugu). are there any registered translators approved by CIC or is an affidavit in english enough?

Is the funds convertible to cash and withdrawable any time you please? If yes, it's settlement funds. If no, it's not. If it's partially convertible to cash and partially restricted, the convertible portion is settlement funds and the restricted portion isn't.

Guys, I just received the CC charged SMS from my bank. My dossier was received on May 6th by Mike, so I think CIC is handling the cases received after May 5th. Just be patient and wait. Good luck for all of you guys.

If ones application is returned because of job responsibilities mismatch, Can he reapply changing the roles and responsibilities?

If yes, doesn't it raise eyebrows of CIC that how can a person reapply changing roles and responsibilities once mentioned in previous application?

Isn't it considered as fraud ?

I would certainly think it would raise eyebrows. But I don't think anybody knows for sure.

Am really really amazed. PCC is optional document and can be sent later. What is the name of this consultancy. Atleast forum members would know whom not to consult.

Be quick, finish the forms and post your application ASAP making sure there is no mistake.

At the risk of repeating myself... I've heard of one terrible consultant after another on this forum. Are there any GOOD consultants?

For "Additional Family Information" form , it says we need to fill all the names in English and in native language.

I have question, can we just take a print out of the same form and fill the equivalent names in native language on the "English: filled form , or we need to fill the fresh form.

Also we are not required to fill the address and place of birth in native ?

on one sheet of paper write all of the names appearing on your Additional Family Information form in both English and your native script. On another sheet of paper, your wife is to write all of the names appearing on her Additional Family Information form in both English and her native script.

Dont send simple photo copies. Get it true copy by authorised notary which clearly shows " I certify this is the true copy of the original document"

Notarisation is optional and not mandatorily required.

Hi, does this mean that 2 adults plus an infant means you should have a min of 1250 CAD and not 18087 CAD as stated in the website? In short, does that infant count as an adult? ie is 3 adults equal to 2+1? What is the updated amount for 2 adults plus infant ??? ???

You're confusing the application fee with the required settlement funds. Follow the website for the required settlement funds. On that site the number of your family includes children and adults.

For the application fee it's $550/adult and $150/child.

Dear Seniors,
One thing i will like to ask .My profile is of quality engineer but my duties match in 4 out of 9 activities mentioned in NOC 2132. Although the designation of quality control engineer is in NOC 2141 but i perform 4 out of 9 duties as specified in NOC 2132. so will i be considered ??
Secondly Will they contact my HR department for verification of the job responsibilities written in letter of reference or my senior who has signed my letter of reference??? As i have written few things i dont do just to get in line with NOC 2132 Grin
