Hello all,

Please help. I am applying for Quebec under skilled worker program. My passport was expired in march. I am in the process of renewing. Can I still go ahead and submit my documents with the passport number. Or shud I wait till I get my passport renewed.

Also please suggest pages/posts which can help me in Quebec immigration. I could not find any latest posts for Quebec.

Any help is much appreciated.

Cant really read your question. What is with the font? Why not normal font?

Hi All,

I am from India. Please help me out in filling the Schedule A Background declaration form.
I am bit confused with the Section 7. Education.
I completed my 10th from CBSE, 11th-12th from State Board and 4 years of graduation from Engineering College.
Primary = 10 years?
Secondary/high school = 2 years?
University/college = 4 years?

Should I need to give the 10th school details too in the table provided in Section 7. If yes, what should I write in the From, from 7th Standard or from 1st Standard?

Please help me with this.

Regards,
Sagar

Someone clarify this please...

In my birth certificate, there is nothing called informant and registrant. If it is the official format issued by relevant government authority of your country, it will be OK.

Three things is very important for birth certificate:
1. Name of the person who is born;
2. Name the parents
3. Date of birth

And also important is place of birth.

Thanks

Any May 6th applicant got his/her CC charged?

Also, don't you guys think CIC is processing applications faster this year?

I dont think they are fast.. i was expecting that they would be more active but the way application are getting accepted its still slow...first week of May applications are being accepted at the moment.... so i dont know they will gain momentum with time or they will get slower?

Nope brother, Ur IELTS should be sent along with the application package...

In this case, I will tell u a process---Just go to local police stattion--- Take a letter stating that u have lost ur Original IELTS paper.

Then go to IELTS center with this letter... They should provide u an original IELTS ...:)

Also

IELTS Second Copy:

IELTS Website says:

"How many Test Report Forms (TRFs) am I entitled to?
You will only receive one (1) copy of your Test Report Form, unless you are applying to Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC), or United Kingdom Border Agency (UKBA) – in these cases, you can receive two. Proof of application to CIC and
Thanks.. But their website also says they can only send directly to the agency. Another way is to take my completed package to IELTS and get them to courier over on me as suggested by a forum member who PMed me. Thanks guys

Did you had only one experience letter? I have two experience letters with duties mentioned but my current employer did not provide letter with duties mentioned in it, I have sent my application package already. Will this become a criteria for rejection?, actually it was less than one year and remaining experience I have more than 6 years, I thought they will leave that and consider my previous 6 years of experience, now I am bit worried by looking at your post.
My assumption is that you are claiming your point for experience in your previous employment which should also coincide with your interested NOC.
If so,you will get your maximum points of 15 for your experience and will also be positively considered provided your application package is faultless.
You can claim points for job experience within the last 10 years provided its part of the designated NOC category which i want to believe yours fall into.
You will be fine with the scenario expired above.
Cheers.

Hi Friends,

I have submitted my application for NOC 2174 and it was reached on 12 May. I have sent fees through DD. I haven't
heard anything yet and my DD is not enchased yet. I am so tensed whether I will meet the cap or not.

Is there any friends who's DD or CC charged whose application reached by 12 May. I have checked the spreadsheet but
latest updates are for 5 th may. Please send your views. Thanks
