i got a question. in the spreadsheet i have seen ppl have processsing center as new york.
how is that possible.

So either the data is fake or whoever has choses newyork is in trouble.

please do reply because there are some people who have yet to send their application and they are mentioning visa center as NY

Didn't notice that yet but I think people in USA should select VO as Ottawa.

For proof of funds, is it a must that money should be in the bank for atleast 6 months before sending the application?

Not essential but having it for past 6 months would be beneficial. That shows you are not raising funds temporarily.

I agree. 6 months is good but not mandatory. I however submitted only 1 month statement and no issues. CIC is anyways going to ask for POF and validate at a later stage. Good luck!

People applying from USA and Canada, their visa office is CPP-Ottawa. those who have written New york or any other city is wrong. However, I do remember one guy last year put New york as visa office yet he got PR so I do not see as a big deal since CIO corrects it by themselves.

Hi seniors

I have few queries first is regarding Proof of funds
1. I have shown my most of the funds in fixed deposit but i also have shown around 1lakh indian rupees ($2000CAD) in my account but that amount is hardly a week old and i have not maintained this amount in my ban account for last 6 months .

2. I have also shown my Provident fund amount in proof of fund but in India we get updated Provident fund status in july so i have shown my last year status i.e. upto March 2013 .This information is on my employer's letter head and i have also attached receipt of provident fund department. Along with a note stating that i have not withdrawn the amount and further addition has been made in the same account for reference see recent salary slips. Will they consider it ??
IF they donot consider these two things i still have around 12000 CAD$ in fixed deposit . Will they consider it alone or send my file back ??

And secondly in Generic form it is asked to write either PO box no. or street no. (with an instruction to atleast write one) .I donot have any of them in my address. Should i write my House no. in Street no. (as suggested in information guide)

I have paternal aunt who is a citizen in canada . I have got statutory declaration (sponsorship letter) but it was written and signed in October 2013 . Is it still valid as it is 8-9 months old. I personally think its not a problem as i have the other documents (monthly bills,her bank statements,NOA ) of recent time i.e. this year only. Still need ur advice.???

Hi the spreadsheet for FSW2014 is not user friendly compared to FSW 2013 .., can any volunteer help ?
there is no way to sort the list on the basis of just single NOC code or "date arrived " etc.. I am comparing with spreadsheet of FSW2013

1. You can use the sheet Table with sorting. Just click on the column heading, it will be sorted.

2. You can also perform this from main sheet. clcik on Data on the menu bar--> click Filter views --> select the one you like. Done.

If you have been living in USA for more than one year then your visa office will be CPP-Ottawa.

I meant the immigration office to process my application.

Thanks all for the help....Now for education documents of Principal applicant. For a Graduate engg what docs do I need to submit? !o\0th onwards.... and ECS or just Engg degree and marksheets with ECA I think post sec edu means only degree documents. What you say guys????
