Hi, don't waste your time on NOC 1212 as it is not eligible this year. Your application will be returned to you. Try to apply within any one of the eligible, finance related NOCs for this year (0111, 1111, 1112 or 1114). You can see all the eligible NOC categories at CIC website. All the best.

hi Pipis Husband, I can see in CIC website that NOC 1212 is eligible this year. Am I looking at diff list or am I missing something? Pls clarify as I am more confuse now after reading ur reply.

thnks...

My credit card belongs to Citibank India. It is not an international Credit Card, however immediately after sending my application on May 2nd I called up Citibank helpdesk to get my credit card open for all/any transaction(s) in Canadian Dollars. Helpdesk assured me that any transaction happening in Canadian Dollars (CAD) on my credit card will be allowed by the bank.

Do I need to be concerned for anything else as far as my credit card is concerned?

any more news on credit card that has been charged pls?

Do we need to retain the funds for a period of time? or it can be used after few months- When does CIC usually check the proof of funds?

Sunset.... you are in the hot news.... Please clarify.....

From the spreadsheet, a short analysis of the applications received till the 5 first days of May (from 01 to 05/05/2014) we note that among the 92 applications received that period, only 45 applicants had their fees encashed within about a month (from 01/05 to 02/06/2014).

Hope there is no a pattern to be derived. If else, At this processing rate, the remaining 47 (applications received from 01 to 05/05/2014) may require all June to be encashed.

Right now, Sunset could confort us in our hopes!! ::)

No, you're alright having notified your bank to ensure your Canadian transaction sails through. All the best.

To avoid surprise checks by your VO, it's advised to leave the funds in your account until you get your PPR. Good luck.

Very difficult situation

In case you could get the package diverted to your friend it is ok (which is highly unlikely as it is already delivered) otherwise, if the missing documents are critical, start assembling complete package again and send it, no issues.

Regards,

Do they update there computers with data or they send the file back if points are not 67 and if I send the file before they send back to me will there be any issue???

they do not update the data on unsuccessful applications. The package will be returned in slow mail.

few people have not received any other communications from CIC when the application is rejected. many got 2- 3 months later

Regards
