Thanks Century,in effect my spouse should retake again or do i need to submit application with the result as it is.

To claim points, you have to submit original IELTS. As currently the score at listening is not enough, your spouse have to retake it to improve score.

Do u have UCI # from previous application? otherwise how u were able to check ur ECAS? have you received PER email?

What abt ur DD encashment info? have u been able to get any update from the bank?

Application was delivered in their office on 1st May at 9.31 am. Till yesterday night (India time) system was not able to identify my details.

It was today evening when i tried again and it showed the status as In process. What has happened in last two days? It was weekend.

In this case,should I need to fill up "Additional dependent/declaration form (IMM 0008DEP)" for my wife?

But in the Instruction Guide it is mentioned as follows:
"Who must fill out this application form?
This form must be completed by:
•You, the principal applicant on behalf of EACH OF YOUR DEPENDANT."

Dear Seniors,

Need an expert advice on below problem.

I contacted bank officials for DD with 6 months validity. They answered that initially DD will be valid for 3 months as per RBI guidelines but customer can extend it for another 3 months once the initial 3 months are over.

Has someone faced same condition? Is it safe to go with this option?

I had UCI number from my previous tourist visits to Canada. I havent recieved PER mail as yet.

SBI had refused to provide any status on DD encashment earlier so not sure if it was encashed or not.

On the generic form i have given different mailing and residential addresses and left the address field in the Payment form blank. If they will use it at all, which address will be used by CIC when charging the CC?
If they will use a PoS machine, as suggested ny other members earlier, do they really need an address?
Should i be worried and send in another application? NOC 2171. My original application is expected to reach CIC tomorrow.

Damn it WES..

I changed the delivery address from Indian address to new Malaysia address.. its not showing the change after saving data. I tried it 3 times and now dont want to messup more.. Its also not showing phone number at all.. the field for phone number shows 011 code permanently which is not changing as per country.

Can anybody suggest what to do..?

Status is "Waiting for required documents" which is correct.

Did you use your own CC?

If yes than it is correct to leave that space blank on payment form.
it is only if different from the principal applicant.

If u are the principal applicant then u need not write the address...

Fee payment form clearly mentioned that:

"ADDRESS OF THE PAYER (IF DIFFERENT FROM THE PRINCIPAL APPLICANT)

So i dont think u need to worry about this if u are the principal applicant...

I today spoke to two consultants to judge this.. They are ready to process my file for this category even if i give the final documents in end-july.
As per them this category will definitely go upto September with 100% surity..

I plan to apply by 15-July though.

Brother, could you be kind enough to ask those two consultants about NOC 2281? ;D

Bro,

If u dont have the UCI in ur hand then just leave it blank...usually CIC assign the same UCI for the later applications...

For the 2nd ques, its a debated issue...some say not refusal some say it is....So its up to u ...u may do both...

But if u ask my opinion then I may prefer to tick it on the Sch A form...
