Dear Seniors,

Need an expert advice on below problem.

I contacted bank officials for DD with 6 months validity. They answered that initially DD will be valid for 3 months as per RBI guidelines but customer can extend it for another 3 months once the initial 3 months are over.

Has someone faced same condition? Is it safe to go with this option?

Kindly answer this.

I received PER on May 30, but I discovered an issue when I log to ECAS. I am Jordanian, but I was born in Saudi Arabia. When I try to login to ECAS, it doesnt authenticate me when I set place of birth as Saudi Arabia. It works only when I set it as Jordan!!! But I was born in Saudi Arabia and this was clear in my birth certificate and all forms I filled. Is this normal? What should I do?

Don't worry. You can discuss this issue with Canada Embassy in Saudi Arabia, once your App arrive there. Don't open doors on your app.

I don't think that's a really big issue as long as you have provided the correct information from the very beginning. .I guess they are more concerned with your nationality/citizenship rather than the place you were born?

Maybe people with more ECAS experience can help?

I have received Bank letter for proof of Funds around C$D15,000. ;D

I took loan also from BANK which is showing in my bank statement. :'(

Will that effect on my application ? :-\

As per my previous exp. I can say that they used my PIN CODE (Postal Code) for aithentication. So I believe the CC billing adress must be mentioned, especially PIN CODE.

For pof can principal applicant use spouse's bank statement or funds need to be under principal applicant name only ?

It will have negative impact if your Funds - Liabilities (loan)< Proof of funds needed by CIC.

Just mention the loan due in the liabilities area thats it... I feel the proof of funds is formality at this stage... it will be a main requirement at the time of flying.

you should declare a Bank loan under liability. It might have an effect if cio will ask the bank if you have existing loan under them.
