I need some guidance in deciding the right category for myself.

I have done Mechanical Engineering from an Indian university.

In work experience, i have 3 yrs of experience in technical field + 5 yrs of experience in Purchasing.

Can somebody suggest which category i should apply for..?

Do they consider the category based on degree OR experience..?

Can somebody help in for above point..?
You can either go with your mechanical engineer NOC...it will be fine or purchasing NOC...you will be fine.
This is because federal skilled is not based on your degree but on your experiences.
The good thing is that your 8 years cumulative experience will give you a maximum of 15points provided you can present experience letters for your 2 jobs i got the specified manager from the document checklist.
Your academic qualification is just part of the indices that award you points for the program.Msc is 23points while Bsc is 21points.
Cheers.

can anybody help from his experience how much time US/Intl reg mail took time to deliver WES report for India. Also plz tell is it must to submit translator affidavit for translator or we can send only translations and certified copies.

Follow up with them ASAP via Phone and emails.. and escalate it to their concerned authority..

Hi

i have done my diploma in instrument engineering in 2002 which is 3 years diploma counted as secondary school diploma and diploma 2 years by WES. I have also done degree in electrical engineering in 2013 (4 years). Now ,i am confused that on which qualification should i apply for fswp so that after getting the visa, i can further study and do a graduate course in Canada itself.

Will my experience be affected due to my degree,as i was working during that time and the degree shows me as a regular student and not part time.

Please help

Your experience will not be affected by your degree.
You are fine if you apply to the NOC that matches your job descriptions.
Cheers.

We (Me and my wife) are ready with all our documents. Our IELTS date is 21-June and expected result will come by 3-July. We have the choice to apply under 3 NOCs, Construction Manager, Civil Engineer and Physiotherapy. Will we be in cap? We are too much in worry and tension.

Thanks Kollins.. In that case, i should go for Purchasing Manager POR as I can get advantage of less applicants in that category.. whereas Mechanical category would get filled very soon.

Anyhow, i would not be able to submit application before 15-Jul. I pray that less people apply for Purchase NOC..!

Friends ,

My first post here and I could just about get my documents and applications shipped to Sydney (NOC 2171) on 29th May, Tentative delivery is scheduled for 2nd of June. Wanted to check with Seniors if , I Can make the cut in the cap limits, would be very helpful if you guys could give me some feelers about it.
Whats the typical timeline, for the Visa if all the documents are in order as requested.

Regards,

Where can I find the number of applications received for profession nursing?

I already submitted my application to Quebec, can I also send my application to FSW Canada?

Before the results for your IELTS is out,you will have a perfect picture of what NOC to apply for as there would have been updates by June sending.
As for now,do channel all your positive efforts to see that you and your spouse pass excellently in your IELTS.....and i suggest that both of you write it with a dedication of a principal applicant since the pendulum can shift on either of you to be principal applicant .
Wish you both success.
Cheers
