Guys
in 2011 &2012 i had got rejection for canadian student visa application ..
i havent mentioned tht in my forms..

did i had to mention that ???

Yes you have to mention that in Schedule A point D. Check for your self
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5669E.pdf

If you haven't then you don't have to worry about it. Once you receive AOR from Local VO send them amended Schedule A along with cover letter explaining you forgot to mention it.

It wont lead to rejection. Just make the necessary changes and send them once you receive AOR. There will be email address given to you at end of AOR for future updates to your application. So just send them Amended Schedule A. It doesnt have to be original, so make changes, sign it, scan it & email it to them. ;)

Dont forget to write all names in native language :-)
One of the most common errors and frequently asked question after submission of docs :-)

Hello everyone, this forum has been so informative. While going through 'rejection reasons' of previous applicants, I have spotted two issues which have caused a concern for me :

1.) One of the reasons was "main duties were not provided in the employer letters or documentation" - Although, my job duties were listed on a letter head which is signed by my manager. But, at company's site, these letters are printed through computers as they don't have printed letter heads. I have however, provided, appointment letter (on letter head), salary slips (last 3 months), manager's visiting card, company's stamp, and relieving letter (on company's letter head). I hope that will be acceptable.

2.) One of the other reasons was "Did not have mother and father name in birth proof ( school leaving certificate in his case)" - I have provided an affidavit and as far as I remember, I mentioned only my father's name, didn't mentioned mother's name. Well, in my form I have mentioned my father's and mother's name but do you think this will be problem.

Regards,
Ajay

Dont worry about what they gonna think. Does it matter to you? Let them think what they want too. who cares.

plz answer this

Hi,

I included the birth certificate of my spouse(with translation and affidavit from Trans). Certificate does not mention the last names of her parents. for this she gave another affidavit giving their full names. but somehow forgot to sign the affidavit.

Will it cause any issue with our application?

Thanks

Hello everyone,

I have two specific questions about ECA.

Does it have to be submitted only for the highest degree that one is claiming in the 'education credential', or for all the previous degrees. It is a valid question to ask because arranging to have the transcripts sent from older institutions could be a difficult task, especially if the person has moved out.

Secondly, although it is expected only from the principal applicant, but would it be worthwhile to send ECA for the spouse too, especially if the points towards adaptability are sought.

Regards

If we assume the application processing & CC/DD processing teams are separate in CIC, second week apps would have been screened by application processing groups by now and waiting for the other group to process further by next week. Hope in good that everybody is in for this step.
Any seniors comments please if there are other thoughts.
Thanks.

My question is regarding how fast the 1000 cap per NOC is likely to fill up? Are there any stats from previous years?

I am lucky enough to be able to apply through IEC here in Ireland which allows for a 24month Work Permit, I had been focusing all my attention there and have only just realised the quotas for FSW 2014 were renewed at the start of the month.

As a Software Developer I plan on applying under 2174: Computer programmers and interactive media developers.

I would only now be starting to get my ECA and need to sit my IELTS as well as getting my medical exam, all of which I believe can take up to 8 weeks (with a lot of expense involved).

I guess my real question, is it worth me starting the application at this 'late' stage. Thanks for any help.
