HI, your 4 years experience in NOC 2171 wil earn you 13 points. The experience in IT that does not correspnd to any NOC will not be counted. Only experience corresponding to an occupation in either Skill level, A, B, or O will be counted. Cheers.

Not necessarily. If the experience in IT is at skill type 0 or skill level A or B it will be counted. It need not fall under an eligible NOC and it's not clear to me it has to fall squarely under any one NOC at all.

The applicant must enter an NOC that best describes the employment. I would choose any NOC that applies (if necessary explain in an annexure that it is 50% one NOC and 50% another, or whatever), and hope to get credit for it.

The only crucial item that must match a particular NOC is the minimum of one year of continuous full time experience in the primary NOC under which the applicant is applying.

I received PER today from Centralized-Intake-Office @ cic.gc.ca

" Based on a review of the information you have provided, your application has received a positive determination of eligibility to be processed on the basis of work experience in an occupation specified in the Instructions issued by the Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism and published in the Canada Gazette on May 1, 2014. However a final decision on your eligibility to be selected as a federal skilled worker will be made by a visa office."
Congratulations

Fixed deposit is also time barred.

I think insurance premium should be considered liquid upto the surrender amount (even I am niche ;)); because I can get my portion back if I stop the insurance. In this case, we need to submit the surrender value from the insurance company.

But a fixed deposit can be withdrawn at any time, you may just face a penalty for doing so. So I think it's settlement funds, minus any applicable penalty.

Regarding insurance you are absolutely right and I included the surrender value of my policies as settlement funds even though I didn't need those amounts to make the requirement. Why not show as much as you can?

I need extra paper for Additional Family Information form for my spouse

I juet wrote down:

1. Name of the form
2. Name of the applicant( spouse name)
3. section name and Family memmber information table

anything else should i have to add?

in background information form:
1. my spouse current occuapation is housewife and caompany i just kept it blank. is ot ok?

in both form I select my spouse is applicant. is it ok?

thanks

Yes on your spouse's forms she is the applicant and you are the spouse.

I'd probably put in N/A for her company name or anything that doesn't apply but you should be fine.

With ref. to proof of funds,

Please let me know whether my spouse's income & balance is considered..??

Can I show my & my spouse's Provident Fund, Pension Fund, Maturity value of insurance policy, Share market value etc..??

Also, please suggest me what else I can show as a proof of fund..??

Do I need to show in CAD $ as our bank provide balance certificate in Indian Rupee only..??

Yes your spouse's liquid and unencumbered assets can count as settlement funds.

You don't need any official statement of the CAD value but you need to enter it in CAD on the schedule 3 so just calculate it by yourself using a standard currency exchange web site.

What can be proof of funds? Here are some examples, provided they are liquid and unencumbered:
cash
fixed/time deposits (provided you can withdraw at any time)
stocks, bonds, mutual funds, treasury bills, debentures (provided they trade on public markets and can easily be sold for cash)
surrender value of insurance policies
surrender value or immediately withdrawable portion of pension funds, provident funds, retirement funds, etc.

Hello seniors!

I am working overseas and my contract will ends in May 2015.. Regarding about the work experience, do i have to consider the whole duration of my contract as year of experience?

Thank you very much for any response!

I'm not quite sure what you're asking, but you can only get credit for experience you already have up to the time of application.

@ Navneet ...

Thanks for your kind reply navneet..

I have told them regarding this transection and even have mailed them that "THE RECEIVER GENERAL FOR CANADA" will claim for 1250CAD $ soon from my card and they replied that they will update this in their record..

Again thanks navneet..

My limit is 1 lac will it be fine for 1250$

Thanks

How much is a lac? how much is a rupee worth? If you can convert and you find it's more than $1250 (with some room to spare considering currency fluctuations) you're fine.

Hello, you can see I said any NOC not eligible NOC. I did add if it fits with either Skill level A, B or O, then it's okay and will be counted.
