My Application was reached on 05th May..Still CC not charged...Am worried a little.. :-[

I believe the IT ones are charged. My NOC is 1112. Any one with this NOC got their CC charged.

Looking at the chart on the spreadsheet, the highest number of applications were received on May 5th 2014. By extrapolation,it means a whole lot of applications were received on this date and by extension it will take some time for CIC CIO officials to process applications received on May 5th,2014. So relax your mind, you are covered.

Cool! How far along are you in the process?

One question left here -

Another point , i was in Canada in June 2013 (Last entry),

In generic form Q11, it asks for last date of entry to Canada but the field is blanked out don't know why.

In q9, I mentioned Citizenship - INDIA and Q 9, current country of stay India and Q11 blanks out.

Do you think i should write by pen on printed form ?

Another point i was in Canada for Student permit for 1 year so i mentioned that in Q12 but i was in Canada for Worker permit from 31st 07- 2013 between this i was in PGWP and Temporary resident.

But i have not mentioned it since it is asking for over 6 month of stay and my Student visa ended on 31st July 2013 so i was in Canada on TRV from 31st 07 to 17 -08

Should i write this or leave it out ?

Another thing, in travel documents, should i send out a xerox of my student and worker permit stamped on VISA, i have left them out as of yet i believe by using UCI, they should have all details.

Rest all app is done, waiting to fill this and send it out all is done.

Thanks for this Neel...

I have sent my Citibank CC details. Do you know by any chance that they would charge the CC online. I have contacted by bank and asked them and they say that all online transactions are password driven.

I have only provided them card numbers and the last 3 digits...and not any passwords.

How can they deduct the amount then? Others who have their CC charged, have you provided the same information.
International transactions are not subject to password authentication. This applies to all cards irrespective of bank or financial institutions.

Hi All,

My financial situation is as under

Assets: Fixed deposit

Liabilities : EMI towards premiums (LIC and Pension Plans)

Settlement funds:meaning?

Please advice what is meant by unencumbered transferable and available funds?

I doubt the capabilities of their "research team"... name sake !!
may be just some bunch of guys managing the data/ website .. without any functional knowledge/ expertise.

Personally, i Dont think a Credit risk analyst jobs relates to even 1% of Financial Investigator- NOC 1114 duties

Hi, thanks for the reply. Actually, they don not mention a list of duties for all occupations in NOC 1114. i also discussed this point with NOC. They onbly replied that based on the info you provided, our research team suggests that you fall in NOC 1114. Now, i am just curious that what is the weight of there suggestion?

I forgot to send the salary slips with my application. Can I send it now? Is there an address I can send it to? Will they accept it?

Hey. CIC depends on the NOC list and if NOC officials say you fall under NOC 1114, why are you wasting time? There can be only two steps here as far as I see;
1, You take the advice you got from NOC and apply under NOC 1114 or 2, or you don't take the advice and you dont apply and potentialy miss out on FSW 2014, the last year this system will be used.

It's up to you but I think you should apply. All the best with your choice mate. 8)

Dear Brother,

Its just an optional thing...If ur salary info is already on the work reference letter/appointment letter then u should not worry about this paper.

And no need to send it additionally if the above u info contains....(actually no valid address/acceptance is there until u have PER email).

Keep calm and relax.... 8) 8)

Seniors

I have one doubt. I have total 7yrs of work experience and all in I.T

I have 4yrs of experience in NOC 2171 and rest 3 years in I.T but does not correspond to any NOC

WHat is the maximum number of points i will get in work experience will it be 13 or 15 (as they will count all my experience)

Because i seee on CIC website that we should have atleast one year experience in relevant field

Hi, this is not necessary at this point. What's important are your employment letter and reference letter. The payslips are only a 'supporting' document and if required, may be requested by your VO much later. So relax and take a breather.

You are grossly mistaken .. Pls see your revised picture :

Assets: Fixed deposit

Liabilities : Nil

Settlement funds: Fixed deposit worth CAD $$ - (as per Guidelines for given # family members)

(LIC and Pension Plans is in a way Insurance/ Investment/ Retirement Planning - and your EMI for that is a subscription amount Not a loan/ liability. However, it cant be considered Liquid / for Settlement funds because it is time barred and payable only when the plan matures / retirement/ u go upar !) :o

HI, your 4 years experience in NOC 2171 wil earn you 13 points. The experience in IT that does not correspnd to any NOC will not be counted. Only experience corresponding to an occupation in either Skill level, A, B, or O will be counted. Cheers.

Your Help Please ....

I have used my CC issued from Wells Fargo Bank/USA? Do you think I WILL face payment problem? Do you know I cases from your experiences.
